You and Steve woke up to get ready for that run. You were in the shower while Steve was brushing his teeth. "So I was thinking we should to Ikea and get the furniture there. Then we can get food over there." Steve spit out his toothpaste "Food in a furniture store." You got your towel and wrapped it around your body then got out of the shower "Yeah they have hot dogs and meatballs." You put the rest of your skincare on. You kissed his cheek and you got dressed "So what do you think?" He smiled while you put on your clothes "Yeah. That sounds great."

You both went to the same place as your date. You saw a familiar figure running. It was sam "On your left." Steve said. You were on his right again. He grumbled when he saw you. " Uh-huh, on my left. Got it." He grumbled again you giggled. You guys saw him again "Don't say it! Don't you say it!" Sam said. "On your left," Steve said smirking. You smirked as well and winked. He gave you a look. You just kept on running. "Come on!" You heard Sam grumble something. He just stopped running.

You and Steve walked to sam "Need a medic?" Steve asked. You leaned up against Steve and laughed. "That is what I said to him. I can't. I gotta go." You separated yourself from them. You got a call from Fury on your work phone. "Yeah what's up." He signed "I need you to lie to Steve for I don't know how long. You and Natasha are going to gather intel from a ship that has an office 'hostage". His name is Jasper Sitwell. I am sure you know him. He took the scepter." You nodded "Yes we have been acquainted. Look me and Steve just got into a relationship. I would be fine doing this if we were friends. But-" He sounded like he was in a panic "I have reason to believe that HYDRA is still active. I trust you."

You looked up from your personal phone and looked at Steve who was still talking to Sam "What. Oh god so the MCU is more accurate. I honestly lost faith in the MCU seeing as my character didn't exist at all." You closed your eye and breathed in and out "I'm sorry Steve. I love you. I'll do it." He sighed of relief "Thank you. I owe you one." You nodded "Yes you do. I am lying to my boyfriend for you. Why don't just tell him and we can deal with the situation?" He sounded like he was occupied "I don't think that is a great idea. I am sure you know why." You then sighed with stress in your breath current "Okay. But you owe me a promotion." He nodded "Okay deal."

You both just hung up and walked to your boyfriend and Sam. "So this is Sam." You nodded "Hey I'm sorry for not going to the VA. I have been busy." He smiled "Good to see you after almost a year. I know you are busy. Here have my number." You smiled "Thank you." You and Steve had a ping from your work phones "We're sorry but duty calls." You walked to Nat's car. You called shotgun. "So you know our assignment," Nat asked you. You nodded "I don't like lying to Steve." She held your hand "I know but some of us agents have to do this and it is hard. Hopefully, this is nothing." You just nodded.

Nat pulled up closer to Steve "Hey, fellas. Either one of you know where the Smithsonian is? I'm here to pick up a fossil. Then to area fifty-one for this alien." You laughed "The audacity of this woman." You smiled at Steve "Come on my big bone." Nat just laughed. Steve looked so uncomfortable but kinda turned on. "How did you get shotgun." You laughed "You were too slow. Talking to Sam. Do you like him?" He smiled "I do. Nat, what is this about? We had a day off." She sighed "I don't know. Did Fury tell you anything Y/N?" You shook your head "No." You had a sick feeling in your stomach with every letter.

All three of you made it to HQ. You guys had your mission. You and Nat planned your part you both will be doing the engine room. To get to the computer room. ​​
