Chapter 16

(Ashlyn's Reality)

I saw Triston walk into the Mall. I was going in there too. Maybe this was the right time to tell him about this Jade thing.

I ran up To him.

"Triston I really need to talk to you." I say.

"Hell no just leave me alone!" He said running away.

"Jade's not dead!" I yell.

He looked back.

He slowly walked back over.

"What?" He said.

"She's not dead. I need you too listen to me. I want you to know that..."

I started to tear up.

"I never wanted to hurt you or put you through hell like I did. I was forced by her. I'll explain everything but I need you to also know that I am so fucking sorry Triston." I say crying.

I started to walk away when he pulled me back.

"Don't go yet please. Tell me where she is and why she made you do this. That's all I need to hear."

I looked down.

"She faked her death to come to live with me. She also forced me to do that stuff to you because apparently you were a bad friend when you were younger. She said that you talked behind her back and bullied her. I don't know if that's the truth but, I'm telling you what she said."

Triston hugged me.

"I'm so sorry she made you do this." He said.

"No. I'm sorry she made me hurt you."
