Clumsy clouds tried to hide the sunrise by spilling the droplets. It started to drizzle, nobody stepped out as they knew this rain won't calm soon. Suddenly all the drizzling droplets geared up leading to heavy downpours. None of them were found on the streets.
Sidd started his journey with the company of water droplets and stranded dogs thinking about his parents' death. He got a sigh of relief seeing empty streets with zero people so that nobody will tease him for the disgraceful act done by his parents. He began to walk with pride in the rain because deep down he knows that his family is innocent and this wicked society made his parents to end their lives.
Returning to the real world, he noticed his one of the owners calling him inside the press to distribute the newspapers. Yes, it's one of his menial jobs which he works everyday to full his stomach. He is the one who is skillful in all kind of jobs and his co-workers are often jealous of his inquisitiveness yet he is the most unluckiest guy in that area who wanders for bread and butter.
Hey Sidd, "whats the time now? and what's this shabby wetting clothes?" asked the owner by adjusting his spectacles.
Sidd just glared and said nothing.
" You are the sole responsibility for all these newspapers which ought to be distributed to every houses without getting wet! Understood? " The owner shouted without any patience.
Sidd took those papers and wrapped it in a cover with a blue steel smile on his face and went off.
He took the cycle, pedalled down the road filled with potholes dreaming to patch his life potholes by achieving something.
"Hey, study well or else you will end up like this ugly newspaper boy who is fit for nothing" A sound came from one of the houses where he distributes the paper.
"Tara, you shoud have the thirst of knowledge like Sidd to master in your core area." A woman advised her daughter after seeing Sidd with newspaper in his hand in her doorsteps. Sidd was a school topper and a college drop out who had fixed new standards for the upcoming generations.
Some see Sidd as their role model whereas most people see him as a burden,a filth, an unlucky guy and so on. Some even frowns at him whenever he passes by their side.Some discriminate him, very few feel pity on him but deep down the people extract enormous work from him by offering minimum wages.
