Chapter 4

George wakes up to the smell of pancakes travelling through the apartment, he checks the time on an expensive clock on the wall which reads 11:15 am. The memories of last night come back to him as he sits up in the huge white bed.

He slowly gets out of the bed and his stomach grumbles at the thought of food. As he makes his way into the kitchen he spots a shirtless Dream over by the cooker, making pancakes. He can't help but stare at his well-defined abs and blushes when Dream meets his gaze.

"Sleep well?" Dream asks.

"Yes thanks, my cuts feel much better already too" George replies, trying to hide his flustered face.

"You seemed to sleep well once you got into my bed" Dream says giving him a knowing look and if it's even possible, George gets even more red.

"Yeah, sorry about that, but I was just scared on my own after what happened" George says quietly, not sure how Dream will react.

"Oh that's ok, I wasn't complaining" Dream flips the pancake onto a plate making a small stack for George.

He offers the younger some syrup which he happily pours onto his plate before grabbing a fork and going to sit near Dream at the kitchen island, immediately devouring the pancakes in front of him.

Dream finishes cooking his own pancakes and pulls on a top, much to George's disappointment. He joins George at the kitchen island and they make small talk before Dream decides to check the news to see if Schlatt had been put in prison yet. As he opened his phone a notification appeared:

We would like to inform everyone that lives in the area that after the leader of one of the most dangerous trafficking organisations has been arrested, other members of the organisation have started to revolt and many are rioting in the town centre. We would like to advise that everyone, especially omegas, stay inside if you can to avoid getting hurt. Thank you

"Oh" Dream says, "I don't think I should take you home just yet, have a look at this", he passes the phone to George and let's him read the message.

"This has happened before, I just stayed inside, I'm sure I'll be fine", George replies but secretly he doesn't want to leave Dreams house, not just because it was much nicer than his but because he likes the presence of Dream.

"No, you'll stay here, at least until the riots have settled down, they only usually take a few days anyway it not worth you getting hurt".

"Ok, but how can I repay you though, it's very kind of you to do this for me. I don't have any clothes either" George worries.

"That's ok you don't have to repay me with anything. And you can always borrow my clothes, even if they're too big, I'm sure you'd look cute in them" he said leaving George blushing yet again.

"Ok, with the riots going on the school won't be open either so hopefully I'll get the week off" George excitedly checks his phone for a message. He finds an identical one to Dreams along with one from the school he works at, telling them that they won't be open for this coming week.

"Phew, I don't have to work this week", he says, excited to spend more time with Dream.

"Oh that's good, maybe you can stream with me" Dream laughs at George's shocked face.

"I could never do that, I'd have nothing to say" George genuinely worries as Dream continues to tease him.

"It would only be for a few hours" Dream says holding back laughter at George's astounded face. "Don't worry, I'm only joking, you don't have to if you don't want to".

"No, absolutely not" George laughs.

"Shall i get you some clothes to wear today? Is there anything specific you want?" Dream asks, "you can't stay in just that jumper all day".

George blushed as he remembers what he's wearing: Just Dreams hoodie which must have been oversized even on him as it came down to past George's knees.

"Ok, just something comfy, we're not going anywhere" George replies, Dream nods in response and goes to get something for him to wear.
