Chapter 8

They both wake up late the next morning after what had happened last night. It was a pretty uneventful day, Dream went out to get some grocery's which they hadn't been able to get before. George didn't want to leave and go back to living by himself and Dream didn't want him to go either so he didn't.

"Should we go to your house to pick up some of your things, now that it's safer out there" Dream asks.

"Ok, there isn't much there but a few things I'll need, I also have to go into the school to teach tomorrow as they're reopening" the younger replies.

"Let's leave now, then we can get a take away on the way back" Dream suggests.

"Yeah, that's a good idea"

They get in the car deciding on what they should get to eat.

Once they had reached George's apartment, they had settled on McDonalds and got out to get George's things.

"It not a very nice apartment, not like yours, but it's only rented so I couldn't do anything to it".

George had tried to make it homely, but - not being allowed to do anything to it - the horrible wallpaper, ugly carpets and curtains had needed to stay.

He unlocked it and entered to get his things, he only picked up some bags of school books that he needed for the next day and some heat suppressants because he knew Dream didn't have any. He threw out some food that had gone off in the fridge and took anything that was still ok in the cupboards.

There wasn't much else that was his in the apartment apart from a few decoration and plants which he decided to take with him to Dream's so that the old apartment was clear of his stuff and he could put in his notice that he was moving out.

He had discussed with Dream that he would move in with him, at least for the moment, as they were now officially mates.

Once everything had be collected and Dream had been given the heavy books to carry down to his car, they got in and drove to the local McDonalds, ordering some food to share between them.

They took it home to eat while they watched a movie and cuddled on the sofa.

The movie finished and they both went back to Dream's room. George had work in the morning, and by the time he got back Dream would have had to go to the bar for his bouncer job. George still wasn't sure why he needed a job when he was already so rich, but he didn't ask.

George never had a car before he came to Dream's as he couldn't drive, so Dream had to take him to the school and they decided he would get the bus back because it was too far to walk and Dream would be gone by that point.

He was actually looking forward to seeing his class again, he had really missed the children he taught over the time which must have only been a week or so since he last saw them, but it had felt like much longer.

As he entered school, lots of excited children came to greet him, after being off for a while it looks like they had missed him too.

He only taught nursery so they were all three to five years old, it was always interesting and George enjoyed every second of it, even when he had to tell them off for sticking rubbers up their noses.

Today was no exception and everyone was very hyper and excited to be back after their unplanned weeks holiday.

Once the day was finished, George collected his books and headed back home on the bus, luckily it stopped right opposite Dreams apartment building so he didn't have to walk far with his heavy bag.

As soon as he got in using a spare key Dream had lent him he collapsed onto the sofa, breathing a sigh of relief after a long day.

This moves super quickly but I want to get to the interesting bit of the story, also I actually published this book now so I'm not just talking to myself doing these now lmao.
