Thursday, 11am. Day 7.

"We're home." She commented, stepping off the plane and squeezing his hand tightly.
"Are we? You're my home." He smiled at her sweetly.
"You guys are disgusting." Her best friend grimaced, walking down in front of them. "Where to now?"
"Our hotel is booked until I can get the keys to my apartment. Let's go." He smiled at the girls.
None of them could've known the chaos their presence would bring.

Despite the universes' efforts to drive her to an early grave from stress, Maddy had somehow made it through the week and before she knew it, it was Thursday. The young woman had manage to awake on time, and Mina had helped Maddy with a coffee before the pair had begun walking to class and chatting together.
"Gosh, what's left in your class assignment?" Mina asked Maddy.
"Ugh. We've gotta create a blueprint for some stupid tech to prove we understood the whole of last year." Maddy groaned. "Fucking science."
"You're Majoring in science and technology, you're probably smarter than most of the people here and you don't want to make a blueprint?" Mina laughed. "You big baby."
Maddy pouted, yawning and mentally considering going down to the coffee shopped attached to their college. Sure it wasn't the best but it definitely did the job, and she needed way more caffeine in her body. "I'm not that smart."
"Ok." Mina agreed. "Anyways, you kinda avoided telling me anything else about that Benthos situation?"
Maddy shrugged, feeling relatively calm for once when the topic was mentioned. "It's cool. He came over and Ant came home early. I didn't know that Ant hated Alpheus because they were rivals or something. All I knew him as was my social worker. He blew up and we broke up."
Mina nodded, accepting all of that information. "That's sucky."
"Eh, can't help it now. Anyway I have to get to my class. Meet me here for lunch and free period?" Maddy offered.
"My.....I don't have one today. I have study hall." Mina groaned. "I'm sorry."
"It's all good. Still meet me for lunch though."
"Of course bitch, I'd never miss that. Alright I'll see you soon. Love you." Mina waved.
Maddy waved back, feeling collected and ready to head to her class. Today so far was looking good.

Time skip, 5 hours later:

"Oh. My. God." Mina complained, finally meeting up with Maddy. "I think my professors are actually trying to kill me."
