The Lost Twin (Arcane x Male reader)

Silco.

In a huge lab under water, Deckard is thrown onto a chair. His breath getting heavier and the fear rushing through him like electricity. A group of big scary men start to walk around the boy. He is slightly choked by one of the men and a hairless cat rubs up against his leg, purring. Behind the boy, there is a big fish shown on the other side of the glass in the water. "You were supposed to follow them and not interfere." Said a mysterious figure. Deckard, who can't breath, tries to speak. "I'm sorry." He manages to say. "They just caught us by surprise." "Now his accomplice is asking questions about you." The mystery man said.

The man seems to be dangling something from his finger, a syringe of some type. "That's not a risk I'm willing to take." The man then puts the syringe on his eye and triggers it, making a hissing sound. Deckard is frightened by this man and continues to struggle to breath. "The kids. It was their fault, the explosion in the upper city." Deckard said. The man is intrigued by this information.  "That was them?" He asks. "Yeah. The topsiders are up in arms looking for 'em." Deckard answered.

The man leans forward in his chair. "Vander's in trouble." The man then looks at Deckard from the shadows but there is one thing you can see from this man, his orange/red glowing left eye. He gets up from his chair and starts walking towards the boy, emerging from the darkness. "Smartest thing you ever said, boy. Get him a meal." One of the men then lets Deckard breath. Taking huge gasps of air, Deckard is then pulled from his chair and shoved by the men to get him the meal. "But keep him off the streets." said the man who reveals his facial features to have a huge black scare on the upper part of the left side of his face. This man was none other than, Silco.

"our timeline has moved up." Silco said to the scientist in the massive room. "It's almost ready." said the scientist, referring to a purple liquid vial he was holding. The cat meows. "show me." Silco said. The Scientist then walks over and grabs the cat to put it in a clear cage that holds a single rat. "feeding time." The scientist said and closed the lid and locks it shut.

"And the side effects?" asked Silco. "Stabilizing." the Scientist responded. He taps on the glass to get the rat to move, the rat walks over to the water spout, not even realizing it's in a cage with a hungry cat. As the rat starts to drink from the water spout filled with the purple liquid, the cats gets closer and closer, growling.

The two men watch closely as the rat starts to react to the liquid like it's in pain. The rat squeals and rolls until it starts to morph and purple veins start to glow from its skin. The cat growls louder but gets in its protective stance, it then starts to hiss and arch it's back at the newly morphed rat. The rat then attacks the cat, cracking the protective glass once the holder of two live animals.

After the test was successful, the Scientist asks Silco a question. "You have a subject in mind?" He asks as they watch the rat feast on the cat inside the glass cage. There was a pause before Silco grinned ever so slightly.

"Someone just volunteered."
