Deans POV

After getting over the initial shock of Gabriel being alive he began to explain some things. As it turns out he is actually our 'sisters' guardian angel, apparently that's a thing. He explained that people who are going to be somewhat important to evolvment of Earth will be assigned a guardian angel until they complete their task.

"How did God assign you that if you went trickster on them?" I asked with my eyebrow raised.

"These things were assigned to us at the beginning of time. I knew I was going to be her guardian angel the day that Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge and changed mankinds fate." Gabriel rolled his eyes. "But, since it's my job to protect her y'all don't have to worry about her."

"Gabriel, something big is about to happen and this girl is a key component to whatever it is. We need to know exactly where she is." Castiel growled at the archangel. The three of us stared at Gabriel with determined gazes. Even Gabe knew this would be a losing battle.

"Fine, but if you guys hurt her or get her killed I will end you." Gabriel spoke with promise.

"Can you tell us anything about her?" I sighed. How many children did dad have?

"Her name is Ella. She lives in a small town in North Carolina and she's sixteen."

"Sixteen?" Sam asked surprised.

"Yeah she's quite the youngster. I gotta go. I'll see you guys later." Gabriel winked them disappeared. So much for him helping us.

I groaned as Sam and I began gathering everything wrong would need for the long car trip to North Carolina.

"You riding with us Cas or meeting us there?" I asked as I grabbed the keys.

"I'll ride with you." Cas got in the back of the car and we sped off. It was a very boring car ride and by the time we got there it was dark.

Once there we decided to stop at a cafe and get something to eat. We walked in and a girl standing by the front told us to have a seat in a booth and someone would be right out. She placed menus on the table and went into the kitchen.

"How are we supposed to even find her? We don't even know what she looks like." I groaned. I really don't wanna be here. Why do things like this always happen?

"It's a small town. I'm sure if we ask someone they can tell us." Sam rolled his eyes at me. "I'm kind of excited to meet her."

"Oh yeah I bet she'll be great." I said sarcastically. Sam decided to ignore me and look at the menu. Teenage girls are annoying.

"Hello, my name's Ella and I'll be your waitress. Have y'all decided what you want to order?" At that moment i remembered what Gabriel said her name was. Ella. There's no way this is her. We both kind of sat there for a second before Sam finally spoke up.

"Umm I just want a salad." he stuttered as he sat the menu down.

"You sure? We've got some pretty amazing burgers." She gave a charming smile, trying to convince him to order more.

"No thanks just a salad." I looked at her name tag Ella W. Could this really be her? It's never been this easy?

"Whatever you say. Just let me know if you change your mind. You?" She looked at Cas.

"Just a glass of water." He replied and looked out the window. She then looked at me waiting for my order.

"Just pie."

"What kind of pie? We have 20 different types of pies." She stated with confidence.  "It's what we're known for." My eyes went wide and I opened the menu.

"Sweet Jesus. How am I supposed to pick?" I looked at Sam and he shrugged with a humorous look on his face.

"I highly suggest the apple pie. Best pie in town." She smiled.

"Okay then that's what I'll take." I told her with a satisfied smile on my face.

"I'll be right back with your food." She smiled and went to walk away but walked right into Gabriel. "Oh hey Gabe. Want anything?"

"Just a coke." He smiled and sat down. As soon as she walked into the kitchen he looked at us. "I see you've met your sister."
