"You just can't get it because you are an idiot." Hayamas seem to start their day in just a regular way. Yuuwa looked like she was about to punch her taller brother and that was the first thing Esma and Ruth noticed after their morning run.

"Idiot here would be the one who can't explain it properly." Kotaro was really ready to pick up a fight with anyone.

"You are just terrible at communicating, deal with it." Yuuwas answered with her vicious smirk. Apparently, they were both discussing the training so everyone at the academy prepared for the tournament.

"I can't be worse than you, certainly." The tall boy fixed his bags and bent a bit to get on the same level as his sister.

"I will punch you, Kotaro." She threatened the boy with her clenched fist and a death stare.

"You can try, shortie." The boy gave her a smirk and just as she was about to punch his face, ruth intervened by pulling the boy away for the collar of his blazer.

"Guys, please don't fight so early on." Ruth sighed in disbelief and now just stood between them.

"Ruth once again saved your ass." Yuuwa sighed but nodded to the freckled girl, notifying her that everything was alright.

"She just thinking, unlike you." Kotaro chuckled sincerely to that.

"Kotaro, you are such an annoying little Dumbo. I don't know how you got those creatures to listen to you..." The girl was really annoyed by his behavior but seemed to calm down a bit.

"Ruth says I'm reliable, right?" The boy put his hand on the shoulder of the freckled girl and Esma opened her eyes wide.

"I- " The girl got a bit of a blush but immediately hid it, trying to say something.

"Ruth is my friend, don't you dare try to change that!" Yuuwa noticed that too and jumped onto Ruth like a cat, holding onto her tight with the same death stare as before.

"They are just as noisy as usual." The freckled girl chuckled at that move and soon appeared in the boy's hug as he tried to take his sister off her.

"How are you feeling, guys?" Esma finally decided to intervene and hid both hands behind her back.

"Excited for tomorrow much?" Yuuwa giggled after a faulty attempt of her brother and gripped the freckled girl even tighter.

"You can't blame her. It's her first-ever tournament." Ruth stated calmly and winked at Esma.

"Did you speak to Hannes?" The boy, however, didn't give up on his attempts.

"I did. I know what to do." Esma nodded in agreement. She knew, the boy just wanted to make sure, she was aware of their plan for the tournament.

"Good." Kotaro smiled kindly and then almost fell as finally caught Yuuwa into his arms, letting Ruth free.

"Can I ask?" Esma chuckled and helped Ruth to find the balance.

"So you are starting with your usual routine then?" Yuuwa escaped her brother's hands and hopped on the ground, poking the boy between the ribs. He scrunched his body but then in the last second pinched her hand, making the girl gasp.

"Go ahead." He smiled viciously and dodged the attack, meant for his face. The boy caught Yuuwa's hand before she could manage to react and pulled her into a shoulder hug, making an impression like he was extremely interested in Esma's question.

"Was your mom a summoner as well?" Esma stood in a hug with Ruth, who rested her head on the girl's chest. She didn't resist it because felt quite comfortable around those people.
