Early the next day, Briarr slowly woke from her slumber in the biggest guest room of many - well, apart from another one but apparently that room is 'reserved'?

She yawns and stretches out in bed, she lays there staring blankly at the wall. She wanted to go home. But she wanted to go back home with Nick.

She thought about it, when she goes back to Texas it'll be without her best friend by her side. She frowns, but her thoughts are interrupted by her stomach rumbling.

Groaning, she gets up flicking the sheets off of her and heads out of the room to the staircase.

As she's about to walk downstairs she hears the sound of loud snoring from down the hall, she snickers and goes down the stairs, into the kitchen.

She yawns again and as her eyes close she bumps into the wall, with an 'ouch'. Opening her eyes she looks in front of her to see that it in fact was not a wall.

She blinks with wide eyes at the tall, smirking boy in front of her.

"What are you smirking for?" She snapped at him, quickly walking past.

He rolls his eyes "What are you bumping into me for?" He snapped back at her.

Her jaw clenched and she scowled at him, then opened the fridge. "Don't bother getting anything, i'm making breakfast," He stated, not looking at her.

She groans "I'm not waiting for you to finish cooking, i'm starving!" she ranted at him.

He rolls his eyes again and dropped the spatula he was cooking with, heading towards her and slamming the fridge door.

She jumps at the aggression and tenses, he keeps his arm up on the fridge. "I said, don't get anything," he taunted.

Briarr glares at him and walks away "asshole," she muttered.

"You're an asshole for trying to eat while I'm so kindly making you breakfast!" He yelled back, somehow hearing what she said.

Briarr slumped down onto the sofa, pulling out her phone and swiftly moving to snapchat.

She clicks on 'Leyna<3' and starts typing

She clicks send and closes her phone with a sigh, only to hear a snapchat notification immediately. Briarr smiled when she saw 'Leyna<3 is typing...'.

Leyna is Briarr's other best friend, which definitely makes Briarr seem hypocritical after disliking the idea of Nick having another best friend.

Nick walks up, standing in the doorway "Bri, breakfast," He gestures to follow him.

Briarr gets up and slowly makes her way to the kitchen, her stomach rumbling again. She sits at the far left of the counter beside Nick, while Clay sits on the end of the counter facing the two of them.
