Chapter 9- Inari

"So, your telling me that the tailed beast in naruto taught you all chakra control when you were eight?" Kakashi said looking at his students with an tired expression in his face.

Team seven was sitting on the ground in a clearing in the forest. The three kids just finished explaining that they already knew how to control their chakra and that kurama, the nine tailed-beast, had taught them when they were little.

"Yeah, he's really just a angry fluff ball when you get to know him!" Sakura said smiling, knowing that kurama would be fuming right now if he heard.

Kakashi sighed, he wasn't even surprised anymore.

"Ok, ok! Prove it, walk up those trees and walk back down." Kakashi ordered his students.

Naruto groaned, Sakura chuckled, and Sasuke went over to a tree.

Sasuke was starting to walk up his tree, Sakura was sprinting up her tree, and Naruto looked like he was walking on a string stretched across two mountain peaks.

Naruto has had trouble with chakra control with his uzumaki genes and having a tailed-beast sealed in him. Sakura has always had amazing chakra control and Sasuke was just Sasuke.

After about two hours of training they headed back to tazunas house and found tsunami over the stove cooking dinner.

Tsunami turned around and greeted them "welcome back! How was training?" She said with a smile.

"It was successful." Kakashi said sitting down followed by Naruto and Sakura. Sasuke walked over by tsunami and saw what she was cooking and started helping. Tsunami smiled at him and continued working.

After the food was set up on the table tsunami, she called tazuna and Imari in. Once everyone was settled in they said their thanks and started eating.

"Tomorrow is when we go and take gato down, this is going to be a piece of cake!" Naruto said, putting on his mask, hoping that it would reassure Inari but he was wrong.

"You'll all just die" the little kid said with his head down. "Inari." His mother said as a warning.

"What?! They'll die trying to be hero's!" He yelled at his mother. "That's enough Inari!" Tazuna said to his grandson.

"What do you mean? The hero's always win!" Naruto said trying to keep his act up and somehow resolve this situation. This always worked, either a little kid who didn't know him got excited or someone would get annoyed and walk away.

"No they don't! In your life you've had nothing bad happen so you think that!"

It went silent.

"Heh....." Sakura and Naruto laughed at the same time.

"You know nothing about us! Nothing about my life or nothing of what I've been through! You have no right to say anything about me!" Naruto yelled. He stood up and walked out of the house.

Sasuke stood up and followed him out, his plate of food barley touched.

"Sakura are you not going to go with them?" Kakashi asked his pink haired student. She smiled and giggled, "he has Sasuke, he'll be ok." She said.

"Naruto"

The blond looked up to see Sasuke. He was sitting on the dock facing the water. Sasuke sat down beside him and laid his head on Narutos shoulder.

"You ok?" Sasuke asked, his face burning red when Naruto wrapped his arm around him.

"I don't know..." he replied sighing. He really didn't think a little kid he just met would trigger him into a depressive episode.

It stayed silent but it was comfortable. There were now laying down looking at the stars. Their hands were interlocked with each other and it was peaceful.

'I love him, I love him so much it hurts' Sasuke thought, he was hoping with it being dark out that Naruto didn't see his blushing face.

'Sasukes hand is soft... I want to hold it more often.. That's not weird for friends, right..?' Naruto thought to himself.

I'm writing this as we go to pick my sister up at a mental hospital-

And my mom has now put a ban on how much we can be on our phones because she thinks the main reason my sister was even admitted to the mental hospital is because of the internet so now we can only be on our phones for 2 hours a day so- yeah....
