I Love You

  13th August 1990 ( in this story Stevie is still in the band )
  
   I was in Miami with the boys for a concert. The night before when we got here I went to a restaurant because I wanted to propose Axl. I lied to him saying I will go with Duff at some bar and he went to sleep.

  It was 4 pm I slept for 4 hours because I was really nervous about it. Tomorrow is the concert and today is our second anniversary

  " Axl, wake up baby, it's already 4 pm"

  " Another second please "

  " No, I have something important to do with you"

  " Okay, okay I'm awake"

  " Thank you, now get ready "

  " What's that important? I know it's our anniversary but why can't we just stay in bed together?"

  " No, because we can do this at home and we are in Miami "

  After he got dressed in a very wide t-shirt and some shorts we got out. We walk along the beach, we walk through the center

" Omg look, Saul, look! It's a book shop " Axl said happily. He loves books

  We go in the book store and Axl takes from there five books. He looked like a little happy kid and it made my heart melt. After that, we went to the restaurant and while we were eating a waiter brought a bouquet of roses. He gave the boutique to Axl. In the middle of the bouquet was a ring with a note. I was so, so nervous

  - My beautiful rose do you want to be with me for the rest of your life? -

  As he read, I knelt looking at him smiling. He looked up at me with tears in his eyes. I take the ring and I ask him

  " My best friend, my boyfriend, and I hope future husband. The love of my life, do you want to be with me until death starts to play with us ?"

  " I- I have no works, Of course !" he started crying and hugged me. The restaurant was empty because I wanted to be something private. I put the ring on his hand

" I love you so much Saul and I will be with you until I die  "

  After we had dinner we went to the beach, it was night and we were alone. He threw his clothes on the sand and I followed him into the sea. The moon was reflected in the water. We were laughing, playing with the water, and kissing

" Please don't leave me," said him now crying

  " You are the only person I want to spend the rest of my life with "

  " I can't never leave you Axl"

  I know he is bipolar and I was already familiar with his problems. We played in the water for another 10 minutes and after that, we got dressed

" I don't want to go back to the hotel now,  " said Axl shaking

" We will go so we can change and after we can go out again, what do you think ?"

  " Yeah, you're right "

  We got back to the hotel and Izzy saw us

  " Congratulation ! " said him smiling

" Thank you! " I said smiling back

" Wait he knows you wanted to propose me? "

" Everybody knows.. me, Duff, and Steven helped him get the ring  "

" Thank you !  " said Axl smiling

  We got in the room and changed our clothes

" They have a piano down, take your guitar and let's go sing something  "

" Do you want to? " I asked surprised

" Yeah baby, we are Axl Rose and Slash nobody can do us anything,  " said him smiling

  I'm so proud of us, in 85 when me and Axl met I hoped we will be a big band, and now here we are. I had the man of my dreams with me and my favorite boys so... what can I want more?

   We started playing November rain, it wasn't out yet. Duff heard us and got his bass. We all three sang until Izzy got his guitar too and started playing with us. Stevie got a box full of bears and started beating her pretending it was a drum. We were all singing and smiling at each other. People from the hotel came to see us. It was 11 pm but we didn't care, like the old times just us against the world

  After we sang with the boys we went outside, just me and my husband. 

  " Now that you are my husband... Can I call you sometimes Hudson?"

" I would like more to call you Rose, Saul Hudson Rose sounds more beautiful than Axl Hudson Rose, oh wait... it doesn't sound so bad" I started laughing he was so cute

  He got ourselves some ice-cream and some sodas, yeah not jack, not vodka, not bear, cola. I didn't wanted to be drunk not now. He took my hand and we were still in public

  " What are you doing ?" I asked

  " I'm walking, you?"

   " Yeah I know but what are you doing with my hand ?"

  " I'm holding it if you don't like it, sorry "

  " No, no don't be silly I just- I wasn't expecting you to hold my hand in public"

  " It's night and I don't care, I can pretend I'm drunk if I need to "

  " Yeah, you're right "

  After another hour we finally got back to the hotel. I was so tired. We got in our room. Axl took a shower first and when I got back from the bathroom he had a pair of glasses on his eyes, a messy bun, and was just in shots reading one of the books

  " What are you doing? It's 2 am " I asked calmly

  " I read and I write lyrics, we need to start a new album or maybe two. Yeah I want two at the same time "

  " You are crazy," I said getting in the bed next to him

  " Yeah and that's why you love me, now shut up I need to focus"

  He was so beautiful with the glasses and the bun. I couldn't stop staring at him

  " Can you play with my hair so I can fall asleep ?"

  " Of course baby !"

  " I love you Axi!"

   " I love you too baby," said him kissing my forehead

  I looked at his beautiful pink lips and his focused face for another minute and I fell asleep with my head on his thighs
