The restaurant incident

  It was a lovely day in Los Angeles when Axl Rose was walking in his black leather pants and his t-shirt with " shit happens " while he was smoking a cigarette . He went in one of his favorite restaurants where he really loved the food and loved to play the piano . The restaurant had a piano in the center where sometimes people would go and play something or they would just touch it . Axl was in the right mood this time , Izzy told him that they were going to have a real apartment together and finally good water . It wasn't what Axl expected when he came in LA but it was good . He was still dreaming and hoping of a perfect band with his best friend and nothing could had change his mind . He sat down in the same chair like always and looked at the menu . A really cute girl went to him and asked 

" Hi Ax , what do you want today ?" 

" The usual , please " The usual meant french fries and a hamburger with a coca cola . He looked at the piano where was standing a kid and he smiles , it reminded him of the old times when he was trying to learn a new song but that's all , that the only beautiful part because he was playing piano so that his father couldn't beat him . He really liked the sound and he wanted to be like Freddie Mercury but when he was saying that out loud people were looking disgusted just because they knew Freddie was gay . Axl always said he was straight , Izzy joked with him about it but not to much because Axl could get mad . The kid looked at his mom and said 

" Mommy , I want to learn how to play the piano " 

" No Dylan , you aren't good enough to play it "

" But mommy please "

" I said no , come here to eat or let's go " Axl looked at them in disgust and stood up going next to the kid 

" You said you wanted to learn how to play at the piano ? " the kid nodded looking at Axl with innocent eyes , Axl smiled and looked at the piano keys and said 

" This is A , this is B , this is C , this is D, this E , this is F and this is G or if you want to call them la , si , do , re , mi , fa , sol . It's the same thing "

" Wow " the kid said mesmerized 

" Now let's play something with both of your hands " said him putting the kid's hands on the piano . Slash was preparing Axl's french fries when he stopped to see who was playing the piano. He was looking at him after the counter and he smiled . Slash didn't knew Axl but he thought the redhead's voice was deep and calming . The kid laughed at his success of playing the piano with both hands and asked Axl 

" Can you play something for me ? please "

" Sure " said Axl now standing on the chair next to the kid 

" Play me something from Queen if you know "

" Actually you are lucky because Queen is one of my favorite bands of all time " said Axl smiling . He started singing Dear Friend and the kid was all smiling and looking with admiration at Axl , after he finished the mother's kid came in front of Axl and said 

" You are teaching my son at bad things , Queen isn't a good band for my child , you faggot "

" I did nothing bad lady . He loves this instrument , I don't see the problem "

" Look at you , all dressed like a rockstar and standing next to my kid showing him Queen , a faggot band and teaching him how to sin "

" You are crazy " said him looking into her eyes 

" You look like a fucking faggot , do you like to take it in the ass ?" asked her taking her child away from Axl 

" Excuse me ? " said him standing up                                                                                                                             " I don't wanna make a scene here but you are stupid and you accuse me for some stupid shit you don't know anything about "

" Go fuck yourself for calling me crazy , you fag ! You will never in your life be a rockstar , cook sucker "

" Do you like how you talk in front of you child ?" asked Axl still semi-calm 

" I talk how I like , okay ? I don't want him to become like you-"

" You don't even know me... Jesus Christ " 

Slash and everyone was looking at them , the lady tried to punch Axl but Slash came and said 

" Please leave now "

" You can't kick me out "

" Yes I can , I work here "

" I will talk with your manager "

" Okay... bye " said him taking her outside . Axl just looked at the piano without saying a word

" I'm sorry " said Slash

" It's okay , not the first time " said Axl going to his table 

" I finished your food "

" Thanks man " 

 When Axl was still in Indiana he was afraid to say he loves Queen , especially because 99% of the people were homophobes and they would call him a fag or weird or they would beat him . After he finished his food he paid and left , he was feeling really sad and he didn't wanted to talk with anybody . When he left the restaurant Slash saw his glasses and he got outside 

" Yo redhead " Axl knew it was about him , he turned and looked at the black ,curly man confused 

" What ?" said him going towards Slash . Slash felt scared in that moment cause Axl looked intimidating and pissed 

" What happened ?"asked Axl 

" You forgot your glasses on the table "

" Oh thanks dude "

" Your welcome , look about the things that woman said...I don't think she was rig-"

" It doesn't matter , really. Thanks for the glasses " said Axl turning with his back at Slash ready to go 

" I really liked your voice " Axl smiled being still with his back at Slash

" Thanks man , it means a lot " said him walking away

" I really wanna sing with you something , I play guitar " Axl finally stopped and looked at Slash

" You play guitar ?"

" Yeah and I got two friends , we are looking for a band and we kinda need a singer "

" So you want me to be your singer ?"

" Yes , don't be silly . The way you look and speak makes me think you are an intelligent man "

" I have a guitarist so I will say no "

" It's not a problem , I want you in "

" With my guitarist  ?"

" Sure , sure . Look I need to go back to work but please think about it , okay ?"

" Okay " said Axl ready to go 

" One last thing "

" What ?" said Axl looking at Slash

" What's your name ?"

" Axl "

" Axl and .... "

" Axl Rose man . What's your name ?"

" Slash "

" Slash and...?" asked Axl smirking 

" Saul Hudson but people call me Slash "

" Nice, well I'm gonna go , thanks again for the glasses " 

 Slash thought about Axl the hole day , he was going to do everything to have the redhead in his band , even with his guitarist . He just wanted Axl Rose
