Y/n's pov.

finally arriving to our final destination, Haru was talking on the phone with her parents that by the way live close to where we are staying. Maybe like 2 hours away. We are going to be staying at a hotel for a while while we save up for a new house.

She hung up and sighed deeply before turning to look at me. "Are you really not going to tell Eren anything?" She asked i simply shrugged, Eren is the last thing i want to worry about, it's been two days since Haru and I left Japan and i haven't heard from him since. And it better stay that way, i don't want to hear from him ever again.

"It's better if we don't talk about him ever again. This is a new journey we're starting.... Lets make new friends and forget about the past" i smiled, but she only gave me a small forwn in return. Shrugging her frown away i opened the car door, stepping outside, slamming my door shut after me before walking to the trunk of my car, opening it and pulling my stuff out along with Haru's.

I wonder what he's doing right now...

Not that i care.

It's better this way.... Us being really far away from each other, him now knowing where i live now, him not being able to talk to me.

Eren's Pov.

It's been two days.... Two days ever since i last seen her. I wonder where she's at. Her car is not parked outside of her house. Her phone that by the way i broke, is not even available anymore. Haru doesn't respond my messages. It's like they ran away.

Where could they have gone off to?

I pulled over at Yn's house to find a man putting a sale sign right in her front porch. What? Sale? What the fuck. I quickly got out of my car approaching the elder man.

"Sir?" i called and he turned around to look at me with a small smile on his lips. "Hello can i help you young man?" he replied and a small smile played on my lips, "yeah.... why is there a sale sign on here? where is the owner?" i asked and he looked at me dumb founded.

"She left... like two days ago" he replied and that's when realization hit me.

She left without telling me a thing.

"Do you know where she went off to?" I asked hoping he'll know but he only shook his head. "She was a very kind girl, and she did tell me she was moving far away" he informed.

My heart clenched.

Far away? How far away? To where? Where did she go without telling me anything?

Armin. Armin should know something.

"What do you mean she left?" Armin asked confusingly. "I went to look for her at her house and shes not there, her house is in sale and a man told me that she was leaving far away." I informed, and just than I realized what I had said. He looked at me confused, and I knew there was no going back now. Why not tell him the truth already.

"Why we're You looking for her at her house?" He asked, and I knew he was gonna hit me with that question. I didn't feel like explaining myself neither so I told him everything, and his face was priceless.

"Tell Mikasa if you want, I'm breaking up with her cheating ass anyways, hope she's good to you."

The two must have thought I was dumb to not know what was going on with them two. I needed an excuse to talk to y/n either way, and with Mikasa cheating on me with armin, I didn't feel as guilty liking y/n.

Two can play the same game. And I won.

But I lost too.

3rd person pov.

You laid in bed, the view to the outside city of New York was amazing, it was really cold though, so you were wrapped in a cozy blanket as you stared outside, tears threaten to escape your eyes, but you held them back.

"But mommy, I get bored inside, I want to play outside for a little bit-" she cut me off with a hard slap, leaving my cheek to grow hot, I bit my lip and held back the tears.

"I don't want to go through that again." You sniffled, feeling your body shiver at the memories. "Everyday I miss you more and more dad. If you were to still be here everything would be so different." You mumbled as you stood up, still wrapped in your blanket as you were now stepping outside into your balcony.

Your blanket was not enough to warm you up outside. "Suicide ran through my mind a lot of times. And I never attempted it. I thought that mom would probably change but she never did. I know that after today my mom is my biggest enemy. I don't have the motivation to keep going....."

"But I'm not weak either".

1 year later.

Y/n
"Happy birthday bitch! Big 20" Haru shouted as you giggled feeling yourself become overwhelmed by the fact you're now 20. "Graduation is just around the corner, let's give it the best we got." She spoke happily.

You and her are graduating college way earlier, and start working on what you two love best.

Eren
"Cover the body up" he ordered, they nodded and covered the body before loading it to the truck.

Eren sighed, wiping the blood off of his face.

"Annoying fucker" he mumbled before pulling his phone out, Floch was calling. He answered.

"They havr taken half of our merchandise, what do we do? It's not looking good for us Eren" Floch informed causing Eren to sigh again. "I don't know, I don't have the mind to think about it right now. Come back to the safe house, we'll think about it later." With that he hung up.

Looking at the time Eren felt his heart clench.

"Today is her birthday" he mumbled as he looked at an old picture of you and him.

"Happy 20th birthday beautiful."

Authors note: so here it is guys. A plot twist to the book. Now 2 more years are going to pass by before Eren and y/n see each other again, which means that both of them are going to age to 23 y/o.
