"how dangerous is this mission?" an FBI agent asked as you put on your bullet proof vest. everyone was dressed in black cloths. each one of you had a small microphone on the left ear, that would allow y'all to communicate with each other since there's going to be several people in groups in different places of the border.

you've only been here one, maybe like 1 year ago. but it wasn't for any type of mission. it was for business.

"pretty dangerous. we're dealing with drug lords. if i'm not mistaken there's going to be an encounter with americans and the mexicans, they'll be exchanging guns, drugs, probably even people....." you sighed, "their meet up will be in two hours, we got to get going. LETS GO EVERYONE OUTSIDE!" you shouted.

"everyone have their own microphone, anything you guys need, there will be back up, every single group have backup, don't leave the rest of us blind on the spot you'll each be located at. you guys know the drill, communicate if anything suspicious happens way before ahead of time. these people are really sneaky and they could know we are behind them." you informed and everyone nodded.

"i want every single one of you back at the end of this mission understood?" you smiled, they all nodded shouting a loud 'yes boss'

"okay everyone with their group, we'll be on our way to the dessert!"

_____

"its fucking hot." Alexandra complained. "duh. it's the dessert." you spoke the obvious. "imagine the people who cross this never to end field. many people die on their way to america, it terrifies me how many people have been left behind" alexandra ranted. "that's right. many people get eaten by wolves, biten by snakes, die of dishydration, or simply because the people who were leading them left them behind." you sighed, rubbing your temples, remembering erick.

after a few weeks of rescuing him. he told you his back story and how he ended where he was. it made your blood boil. you two drove in silence the rest of the way, the sound of the bumpy floor was the only noise keeping company.

after a few more minutes, you and your group arrived at the spot you're supposed to be at. which is in fact fact the place where the drug dealers are going to meet. just that you all were now hiding in between trees and the shadows.

they should be arriving at any moment. you would be lying if the hotness wasn't getting pretty frustrating, especially since you're wearing a long sleeve shirt. but there's people who spend days here, so you sucked it up.

"y/n. two trucks just arrived, with vans behind them." alexandra informed as you took out a water from inside the truck. grabbing your radio you began to speak.

"i don't want any attacks to the cars that just arrived, we're gonna wait a little bit, in case more people arrive. i repeat, no attacks just yet until my signal" you put your radio on the back of your pants.

"pass me the binoculars Alex" she passed you the binoculars, as you saw that people were now getting out the trucks.

your radio went off.

"boss we got a problem. there's people checking out the spot we're at. do we retreat or do we stay?" alonzo asked. you bit your lip and mumbled a 'fuck'.

"stay there, if they get way too close, than retreat, for now we can't make any movements yet." you explained. "okay boss"

putting up the binoculars to your eyes, you zoomed in, looking at all the guys outside, there was a woman there too, a brunette one. she couldn't be older than 24. "there's a woman out there too, pass me the flyers." you told alexandra.

she passed you the flyers. and sure thing, it was the same woman that was currently standing out there. she's been wanted for the pass 4 years. the other men, you didn't have any flyers of them.

"if we catch her today, that'll be like an award for us...." you mumbled. "not that i'm interested in any promotion, but..... but they're all going down today."

a few minutes passed by, they were all just talking. and laughing, which made you wonder if they were waiting on anyone else.

"how is it going over there? i want everyone's response." you said. they all said that everything was going just fine, except the for the same group as earlier.

your eyes widened. your heart stopped. your stomach fell to the ground. you couldn't believe who just came out the truck that just arrived. as well as who was talking in the radio.

it was alonzo. alonzo was..... no... it couldn't be true.
