Amsterdam

Jen reaches out and holds his hand, "I can't wait to see what you have planned, Jethro." She then rests her head on his shoulder and starts to doze off.

Jethro whispers softly into the air, "Just you wait." The plane ride lasts another 7 hours. Jethro wakes Jenny up before the plane lands. They make their way through the international section of the airport and hail a cab. Jen is still embarrassed about what happened on the plane, but somehow they were not banned from the airline. Jethro tells the cab driver, "Dit zijn wij." Which translates to, "This is us."

The cab driver stops and accepts payment while Jen looks out the window at the hotel. She gasps, "Jethro, this is the hotel where we were undercover!" Jethro smiles and acknowledges her comment. He gets out of the cab and opens her door like a gentleman. She comments, "I guess chivalry isn't dead." She grabs his hand and steps over the puddle.

While Gibbs checks in Jen is checking out the lobby. She notices that almost everything is the same from 7 years ago. Gibbs comes over to her, "We should be good to go. I have the key." He hands Jen the key, "We both know I'm going to lose this."

She smiles, "You have quite the knack for losing room keys." She accepts the key and heads to the elevator. Jethro is smiling ear to ear while he and her step onto the elevator. She asks, "What are you smiling about?"

"Oh, nothing," Jethro pushes the top floor button. The top floor is where the suites are located.

Jenny grins, "Jethro, you didn't..."

"Oh, I did," Jethro pushes the button for the doors to close.

Jenny looks at him, "The same room as when we were undercover?"

Jethro points to the key, "Same room."

Jenny hugs Jethro, "I can't believe you remembered every detail!"

He whispers to himself, "Every detail..."

It takes them around 30 minutes to get settled into their room. Jenny asks, "What's on the plan for today?"

Gibbs explains, "I don't have a plan."

She is shocked, "Jethro, without a plan? There is no such thing."

Jethro smiles, "Who am I kidding? I have a plan." He whips out a piece of crumpled up paper from his pocket and starts, "We have reservations for lunch, the Van Gogh Museum, Vondelpark, and last but not least dinner."

"Sounds perfect!" Jenny packs a day bag and yawns from jet lag. It is approximately 1 in the afternoon in Amsterdam. They go out to a small cafe and order food. Then visit the museum. They see famous and lesser-known Van Gogh art. On public transportation, Jethro gives his seat to Jenny. They arrive at Vondelpark and head straight towards the famous gazebo.

Jen thinks he is just going to feed the ducks like he used to do 7 years ago, and he does for a little bit. They have a relaxed conversation until Jenny turns around to take a picture of the ducks. Jethro gets down on one knee, with great difficulty. Jenny turns around and gasps for air, "Jethro..."

Jethro begins, "Jen, 7 years ago I laid eyes on the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. I knew that I loved you from the moment I saw you. Now I have a second chance to make things right, and I'm not going to mess it up. This is where we had our first kiss. You pulled me in so that we wouldn't be suspicious. Ever since then I knew you were the one. So Jennifer Shepard, will you-"

Jen cuts him off and starts jumping up and down, "Yes! Yes, Jethro, I will!"

He puts the ring on her finger and asks one more question, "Can you help me?"

Jen changes her stance and holds out a hand for Jethro. She giggles as he slowly gets up. She mentions, "You could have just asked me standing up. I still would have said yes, Jethro."

Gibbs smiles and kisses her lightly, "It's not the same." Jethro and Jen hold hands as they walk through the park.

They walk around the corner to the restaurant where they are going to be having dinner. Jen stops in her tracks and exclaims, "This is- This is where we had our first stakeout over dinner. I think you had the kibbeling, and I had the stamppot. Best dish I had in Amsterdam. " Jen smiles and pulls him in towards her, "I love you, Jethro."

"I love you, too, Jen," Jethro kisses her on the cheek.
