I sighed as I was rocking with my daughter in a nice recliner that they put in our suite for us.

Louis was out to look for Niall and Liam. He wasn't going to fight, but we haven't had a single lead since we've been in the US. He promised to get back to me once he gets something. I hope that he does, but there is a low chance of that happening. There are times where I would regret my past choices, but I don't know if I fully regret leaving the superhero lifestyle. It was fun and it protected people from danger.
I know Louis was looking at things in his point of view, but he needs to realize that we can't be putting our lives at risk like how we did in that time. We have a baby and she needs to be our top priority right now. We need to get back to her at all times and we need to protect her until she has full control of the powers that she has. I don't want to risk anyone coming after her and I can't risk the possibility of Brooke's dad coming back for more.
I just wish that I never threw that party. If that party never happened, then there would be no possible way for us to turn into this. We could've had the most normal life possible. Louis and I would still be together since all of this happened after the party. We started to feel something once we met and it was instant, so we would have had this precious girl one way or another.
Speaking of an angel, I felt her moving quietly in my arms and it got me to look down at her. "Hey baby girl. Wanna know what's going through your momma's head?" I asked and she of course, just gurgled in response.
"Well mommy was just thinking about his life. You see, your daddy and I are superheros, and I know that it sounds silly, trust me I didn't want to believe it either. I always thought that superheroes were only meant to be on TV or in novels. They weren't meant to be real and if they were, then we were all going to lose it." I chuckled and looked off to the side for a little bit, but I went back to her. "But we are and we were just forced to live this life. Now don't get me wrong, once you get used to it, then you'll see for yourself that it's not that bad. It's actually pretty great."
"We were welcomed to this life by a few awful people who definitely have nothing but bad Karma within themselves. They took us and made us into their little experiments. We went through so much after that Jay and we fought through so much before we had you enter our lives. We went through battles and we even fought our own selves. It was so freaking dangerous and all that I could think about was how I couldn't continue when you get here. Then I thought about what would have to happen if I wanted more kids with your dad and it made me make a big decision...."
"It had me leave the superhero life and I became what I once was before this. Your mommy came back to being a famous model and your father went back to being that famous actor that you see on TV. We became serious parents and we never thought about going back until just recently. Everything seemed okay until we heard about your uncle's being in danger. It caused a whole rift between daddy and I. It caused me to think a bit more deeply about what I decided to do when you arrived..."
