So far...
"We are going to have to be very stealthy. I'm not sure if they installed cameras and traps in this place, but you have to be ready for anything."
"That means that you can't pull what you pulled yesterday. You have to be very smart about this so that we can see our friends in one piece. Also, stop it." I said, referring to his constant I love you's in his head.

"We are going to have to leave from here and sneak past any guards they more than likely have inside of this place. The psychopath is more than likely a level above Liam and Niall. They probably have the two at the very bottom, but there is a second basement that's above them and that's where we need to get to."

Now
"Are you ready for this?" I asked Louis and he nodded his head. "There is no other choice but to be ready," he points out and even though that statement scared me a little bit, he was right. We had a goal in our heads and this is the only way for us to get to that point.

The two of us walked down a hallway and we faught with a few men that were standing in the hallway, but when we got to the door that should have the mad scientist behind it, I gave Louis one more look of reassurance. Let me open it. If he attacks first, then I don't want him to hurt you. His thoughts told me and I complied. I stepped back and he gave me a silent thank you. He took the knob an d he twisted it. He opens the door and stepped in.

I stayed back as Louis zagged to the right, but the scientist must've knew that he was going to do that, because he used such a big metal hand on him. It slapped him and I winced at the sight of the hit. The hand then took the hem of Louis's shirt and it flung him.

"Shit!" I yelled as I watched my ex fly across the room. He struck a few desks before he was laying on the ground in pain. "Louis!" I screamed and I created a forcefield around myself. I ran to Louis's side and as I was doing that, our enemy was shooting at me. Along with the forcefield, I created a box of stone for Louis and I only. "Where did he get you?" I asked as I was lifting his shirt. I looked everywhere and when I got to the spot, he winced. "I don't see any blood..." "Broken..." He tells me in a low voice.

"I guess you were right about him striking first," I said and he gives me a dry chuckle in response, so that made me focus on his injury again.

I placed my hand on the spot and my eyes glowed as the spot healed and he was able to sit up. It was his hip that was having the issue. His shoulder was dislocated, so I was quick to assist with that too. When I knew that his whole body was okay again, I helped him to his feet and we looked at the target together. "That was fucking painful..." Louis said and rolled his shoulders a bit. I hummed in agreement as we took notes of our target.

"So he's pretty hard to fight..." Louis said and shook his arm again. "Why was the plan set to start with me getting hurt?" He asked and I looked at him. "I really didn't expect that to happen twice this week. I thought that we were going to catch him off guard." "Yeah well, that didn't happen, so what are we gonna do now?" "I don't know..." "Are you serious? I can't think of anything, and you are obviously smarter than me. I don't need you losing your energy though, so we need to think of something before you faint and he k- you know what? Too soon." "Yeah. Just let me think..." "Then stop using your field. Your exhausting yourself," he tells me and I looked at him. "But what if you get hurt? That one throw broke a couple of bones in your body. It can do much more if he wants it t-"

"The superhero life is always going to leave scars Hazza. Maybe not on you because of your healing powers, but for us. I don't need you passing out to protect me. I'll try to stay as alive as possible and if I need you, I'll call you," he taps his temple and I nod my head. Louis built a dome of ice for the two of us while my force field faded away. "Okay. Now you can start planning another plan." I sat down and I stared at the ground, thinking about the situation that we were in.
