"Shhh...shhh, it's okay love. We are going to be home eventually. Everything is okay. In fact, you'll see your uncle Niall and Liam pretty soon. Isn't that wonderful?" Harry asked as we are walking into the laboratory. "She won't stop crying since this morning. I fed her, burped her, changed her, and I have tried putting her to sleep three times for the past hour," Harry said as he looked at me with a sad look on his face.

I looked at my lovely daughter, then at Harry again. "Do you think it's me? Do you think my powers are effecting her in a negative way?" He then asked and I hugged him. "Baby, Jay is completely fine. Babies cry, and sometimes we don't know what they're crying about. Like when Niall and Liam missed a few days of seeing Jay, she wouldn't stop crying." "Yeah..." "And she's used to being at home since we want to keep her under the wraps for right now. Maybe this is just a new place for her and she isn't digging it," I then tell him and he looks at Jay with a soft expression on his face.

"Well one day you will be visiting this place on a daily basis. You will be with momma and dadda and we will train together. It will be something to get used to, but when you get the hang of it, you'll feel better about it." I watch him bounce the baby as we were walking to Lou's office. I knocked on the door and with a 'come in', I opened the door for us. Harry stepped through and Lou instantly came up to him, looking at our daughter.

"Can I?" She asked and Harry nodded. "She's a bit fussy, but you might be able to help with that," he says and Lou nodded. She took Jay from Harry and bounced her while saying comforting words to her. After about 10 minutes, Jay stopped crying and slowly fell asleep. Lou handed our daughter back to Harry and he thanked her.

"What are the two of you doing here?" She asked, taking a seat at her desk. "We got Niall's little minion and he had this letter..." Harry says and looks at me. I pulled the note from my sweatjacket and I passed it to Lou. She takes it and unfolded it. She read it and we saw her face grow pale. "You know about this?" I asked and she looks at me. "Niall always told me about the missions he goes on, so I don't get why he wouldn't tell me about this one. Especially since it's dangerous." Lou thought that I was going to pay attention to what my baby was saying, but I just have a feeling about something....

"I think you know why he's been quiet about this," I said, still staring at her. She looks at me again and when she sees that there was no point in lying, she starts to spill. Perks to having a superpower that practically detects lies. Harry is gifted, but that spoils my surprises sometimes.

"Look, this mission popped up and it was a big one. I told them that they had to fly out immediately and I told them not to tell you guys because you were too busy to think about mixing yourselves in something like this. You two have your normal lives and your parents now."

"That doesn't mean that we don't want to help anymore. There's a reason as to why we asked you to make those minions. It was to remind them of the amount of help that they truly had. You sent them out there thinking that we don't want anything to do with them anymore when that's not the case," I said with anger in my tone.

"No wonder Niall seemed so freaking weird..." Harry said and I looked at my sweet love with sympathy and I gently pulled him closer to me.

"Can you give us the rundown as to what is happening with this whole bad mission that you sent out friends on?" "Fine...this guy that they are going after is worse than Brooke's father. They were even good friends at one point, but they drifted apart because of their dreams being so different. The friend hated how Brooke's dad was just focused on ruining his daughters life and he was so focused on making the biggest villains possible. The guy wanted to take over the world himself and he didn't want to mix science into it."

"Okay..." "This guy was so detailed in every move that he made. After such a long way, he was able to kill people with gas and he's able to control the mind of an innocent person without using immortal skills. He used it all around the US and he used it to have people kill others. No matter what relationship they had with their victim, they went through with the killing."
