Chapter-4

2 pairs of curious eyes watched Seokjin work beautifully on a customer's ankle. He effortlessly moved the needle on the pale skin of the woman, marking it with colorful ink. He was working on two pretty purple butterflies.

Jungkook and Taehyung sat on the extra stools and ooh'd and aah'd every other second which was irritating Seokjin. He could bear his brother because he wasn't that loud but Jungkook was acting like an excited kid. That boy had a lot of tattoos on his body and his enthusiasm showed that he was genuinely interested in tattoo art rather than just getting it done for fashion.

For the last week or so, Jungkook accompanied Taehyung to their parlor every day after college, and Seokjin was fed up with the two boys disturbing him. First, he wanted to ask Taehyung to stop bringing his friend who would sit on a stool and watch Seokjin work like a hawk every day but for some reason, his brother was acting differently around this boy named Jungkook. Seokjin can't pinpoint how exactly different but Taehyung treated Jungkook a bit differently so he let it slide.

"Apply this cream three times every day for 2 weeks straight. And avoid contact with water." Seokjin accompanied the woman out of the room and to the cash counter and handed her the bill. "Thanks for coming" Seokjin bowed at the smiling woman who left a huge tip for him.

"Please teach me hyung" Jungkook pleaded and sat down beside Seokjin who was waiting for his next appointment. "I want to learn too"

Seokjin rubbed his temples and tried to remain calm. Jungkook was a nice kid but he was as annoying as his brother. "I can't. I don't have free time"

Jungkook pouted, "pleaseeee"

Before he could plead with his puppy dog eyes, a certain tall man walked in the shop and grinned at Seokjin who, as usual, rolled his eyes.

"Hey Jinnie. Missed me?" Namjoon walked over to the couch where Seokjin was sitting and plopped down beside him. As soon as he sat down, his eyes traveled to the boy who was staring at him, more specifically his arms and smiled. "Taehyung's friend I suppose?"

Jungkook nodded, "Y-yeah."

"That's Namjoon hyung. The one I told you about" Taehyung nudged his friend's shoulder who gasped.

"Woah, Tae told me about you. Is it true that you have more than 50 tattoos?" Jungkook asked with his doe eyes.

Namjoon chuckled, "Maybe? I never counted"

Jungkook and Taehyung soon started chatting with Namjoon, with the two boys touching his body here and there. They completely ignored Seokjin's presence and instead of feeling grateful, he felt angry. The way Jungkook's hand was tracing Namjoon's biceps was making Seokjin's blood boil for some reason. He didn't like Jungkook constantly calling Namjoon cool and hot.

Seokjin was annoyed so he stood up and stomped to the back room where he was supposed to be working on Namjoon's next tattoo. "I'll prepare the materials" he mumbled and left the three boys to themselves.

....

"What do you want today?" Seokjin asked Namjoon.

"Just fill my sleeve with whatever you like"

Seokjin hummed and began working. Namjoon was someone who would let the tattoo artist explore his skills. He would sometimes pick up a specific design but most of the time, he let Seokjin do whatever he pleased.

Seokjin worked diligently ignoring Namjoon's piercing gaze. Today he wasn't feeling very happy. The image of Jungkook caressing Namjoon kept popping in his mind, making him frown.

"You good?"

Seokjin hummed once before putting his tools down on the table. "Here you go. There is no space left on this arm."

Namjoon grinned, "I have other parts that are untouched like my as-"

"43"

"What?" Namjoon looked at Seokjin who was looking at him with a blank expression.

"You have 43 tattoos" with that, Seokjin got up from his seat and walked out, leaving a very confused Namjoon behind.

For some reason, he was angry and annoyed and he doesn't even know why. Maybe taking a break would help.
