"It must have hurt a lot" Jungkook took a cotton ball and dabbed it on the red surface of Taehyung's freshly-inked finger. "I'm sorry I should have been more gentle"
Taehyung wiped the tears with the back of his hands and smiled at his friend who was cleaning his wound. "I'm fine. Besides, this looks really cool"
It's been two weeks since Yoongi started teaching Jungkook tattoo art and that boy had been spending all of his free time in their tattoo parlor. Today he decided to test his skills on a body part and Taehyung happily volunteered to get his second tattoo. Jungkook was hesitant as he isn't a professional but seeing Taehyung's puppy eyes, he gave in to his request.
"I'm really glad you liked it. I have the exact one on my wrist" Jungkook showed him his right wrist and Taehyung's eyes widened. He just got a matching tattoo with his crush and also by his crush. Wow.
Seokjin was sitting idly in his chair and was watching his brother and his friend act all mushy in front of him. It was obvious that Taehyung had a crush on Jungkook and it annoyed Seokjin why Jungkook had still not caught on, looking at the fact that Taehyung's actions were obvious and clear as a crystal.
"Do you want to grab coffee with me?" Jungkook shyly asked the boy in front of him who had turned as red as a tomato.
"S-sure"
Seokjin suppressed a laugh. His brother was too deep in this and he just hoped that this Jungkook boy won't break his heart.
"I'll see you later tonight Jin hyung" Taehyung shouted before disappearing out of the shop.
Business was slow today and Seokjin was thankful because he had a lot of things to think about. Okay, maybe not a lot. Just one but that's still a lot for him.
The last time he saw Namjoon was two days ago, the day when he very boldly kissed him. He can't point out the reason behind his actions though. Seokjin doesn't know why he did that, all he knows is that there was no point in justifying himself. He kissed Namjoon. Yeah, he did and there was no explaining why. Does he have feelings for him? Now that's something he needs to figure out. It's not a really complicated question but the person who is involved was making it harder for the tattoo artist.
It has been two days since Namjoon was seen anywhere near the tattoo parlor. He didn't book any appointments nor did he make a visit as usual. His sudden disappearance was making Seokjin anxious. Did he mess up by kissing him? No, he didn't because Namjoon kissed him back. Was he just another person to play with? To pass time? No, he is sure Namjoon was sincere since the beginning but Seokjin was doubting everything with each passing second. It's true how Namjoon always made it clear that he liked Seokjin, but the tattoo artist had second thoughts now. Did he push Namjoon so much that he lost all the feelings he used to have for him?
Before Seokjin could overthink this any longer, a short male walked into the shop with a plastic bag in his hand. "What's with the long face bro?" He put the bag containing groceries on the sofa and sat down beside his coworker.
"Can I ask you a question, Yoongs?"
"Hmm"
"Have you been in contact with Namjoon?" He cautiously asked his best friend. "You know he hasn't been here for a couple of days which is so unlike him" Seokjin tried to fake chuckle, trying his best not to sound worried.
Yoongi smirked, "Yeah he called me the day before yesterday" he turned to look at Seokjin whose expression was unreadable. "Said he broke his ankle"
Okay, Seokjin was sad. Mad even. Why did he call Yoongi and not him?
"He said he wanted to talk to you but you never gave him your number"
Damn, now this makes sense. He always turned down Namjoon whenever he asked for his number. It was all his fault.
"How did he break his leg?" He sounded really worried, making Yoongi laugh internally.
"He got hit by a motorbike"
"WHAT?" Seokjin sprang up and dashed to grab his coat. "And you didn't even bother to tell me?"
"I thought you hated him" Okay, now Yoongi really hit the nail.
"I-I don't know, it's not-" he stuttered in front of his best friend.
"No need to explain. I already know" Yoongi grinned. "Go now. I will close the shop"
Seokjin looked at his friend with thankful eyes before running out as fast as possible. Long ago, Namjoon had told him that he lives in the apartment complex three blocks down the tattoo parlor. He stopped only when he reached his destination. Seokjin is grateful that he never forgot his house number. No.1209
He was about to knock when the door suddenly opened, and a very tall man walked out with a trash bag in his hand. He looked healthy and stood without limping in front of him. Seokjin couldn't see any bandages or plaster around his leg. What was happening?
"Jinnie? What are you doing here?"
