He ran as fast as he could in the rain to catch up with the boy who seemed to be on his way to class. Jungkook was soaking yet that didn't bother him when it came to him. Today is the day. Today is the day he confesses.
"Taehyung wait!"
Kim Taehyung, a third-year business student, was standing outside the entrance to the huge study hall with an umbrella in his hand. He looked like a handsome prince even in his old grey sweatpants.
"Jungkook what are you doing in the rain?" Taehyung rushed forwards and pulled Jungkook to stand under the umbrella with him. "You will get sick"
Jungkook chuckled, feeling happy that his crush was worrying for him. "I'm fine. Let's skip this class"
Taehyung thought for a moment. He was about to attend a very important economics lecture but seeing how Jungkook had probably run all the way to his major building in the rain, it must be important so he agreed.
"Okay, but what's up? Everything good?"
"Yeah. I want you to come with me"
Jungkook and Taehyung walked to the art building together, squished under the umbrella, trying not to get wet.
Jungkook led Taehyung to a secluded room at the end of the third-floor hallway. It was the art room that no one used. Except for Jeon Jungkook. That room was like his personal studio.
"Wow" that's the first word that left Taehyung's mouth when he stepped in. The room was filled with art supplies and paintings scattered all around. Colorful canvases, black and white sketches, abstract art, there was everything. "You made all this?"
"That's right"
"You are amazing."
Jungkook blushed getting praise from the boy in front of him who was admiring each piece with wide eyes.
He dried his hands on a piece of cloth before picking up a black folder. "Taehyung" he called out.
"Hmm?"
"I want to show you something" he hesitantly handed him the folder and waited for the boy to open it. The same folder he refused anyone to touch. Even Taehyung was not allowed to see what's inside for a long time.
Taehyung was confused which only grew when he saw the first drawing. It was a pencil sketch of a young boy with dark hair. A boy who Taehyung knew very well.
He looked at Jungkook once before flipping through the pages that were full of the same boy. In some paintings he had long curly hair, in some he wore pretty clothes, and in some he was naked. The sketches were beautiful and Taehyung was amazed that Jungkook had managed to make him look this gorgeous. Yeah, the boy in the paintings was him. Kim Taehyung.
"These are beautiful but when did you-"
"Please listen to me" Jungkook quickly spoke up. "I need to tell you something"
Taehyung nodded for him to continue. He was curious to know why he was the main subject of his friend's art so suddenly.
"I saw you in literature class for the first time. You looked so handsome that I was instantly fascinated by you. I just wanted to capture your beauty on paper and so, I would try to sketch you every day in hallways or the cafeteria. I swear I wasn't stalking you, you were just too pretty for my eyes." Jungkook looked straight into the dark eyes of Taehyung who was listening to his every word without breathing. "I decided to finally talk to you that day and Tae you were so much prettier in person. I couldn't believe my eyes that someone as beautiful as you could be real."
