The match begins; Teammate vs Teammate! [15]

No ones PoV:

After the match was over and you stopped Gaara you went back to your original place, now the only people that were left were you, Akiko, Choji and that weird oto-nin.

You looked up at the board and waited for the next two names to pop up, when they did your eyes widened and your mouth stood open a little.

"Akiko Itô vs Y/N Anko"

Is what it said on the board, you gulped as you exchanged looks with your teammate before jumping down on the battle arena.

You stood a few feet away from Akiko and stared him in the eyes, Dai was leaning against the railing and Natsuki was watching closely as well.

'If I fight Akiko.. I have to watch out for his earth style. I'll be able to fend off against his fire style, hopefully, but I'm not sure about his earth style..' You thought while quickly analysing your surroundings.

"Begin!" You heard the proctor shout and you quickly jumped back, dodging an earth style attack from your teammate.

"So eager to win are we?" You smirked.

Akiko chuckled a little before he sprinted towards you. 'Wrong decision..' You thought. If there was something you were better in than Akiko, then it was Taijutsu for sure.

He tried to kick you in the stomach but you quickly dodged it by using your swift release which made you appear behind your teammate. You kicked him in the back as hard as you could, sending him flying into the wall.

"Awh man, over already?" You said before suddenly feeling a presence of someone behind you. When you looked again you noticed that it was just an earth clone which Akiko had used to distract you.

'Crap!' You spun around and saw a giant Bilder fly towards you. Your eyes widened as you quickly jumped to the side to dodge it.

'That was way too close..' You thought and looked around you again. You couldn't find the brown-haired boy anywhere.

'If he's not around me then that means that he's-' You realised and jumped up, your feet landed on the wall and you hurried to climb up to the ceiling where you then stood upside down.

Akiko was now standing right we're you stood a few seconds ago.

"You've gotten better." Akiko smirked.

"Well, obviously." You rolled your eyes jokingly.

Then you took a deep breath and jumped back down, you made a few hand signs.

"Lightning style: lightning ball!" You yelled as a few balls of lightning appeared in front of you and shot towards Akiko. He dodged all of them, or so he thought. What he didn't know was that, you had hidden one lightning ball behind another one which now shot right towards your teammate and hit him on his left side. He fell to the ground and coughed up a bit of blood before loosing consciousness.

"The winner is: Y/N Anko!" The proctor declared and you quickly got back to your place as you watched the doctors take Akiko away.

"He underestimated me." You said to Natsuki-Sensei and Dai.

"Yeah, he still needs to learn to not always underestimate his opponents. If he doesn't do that, he'll face major problems later on." Natsuki said and you and your black-haired teammate nodded in agreement.

Gaaras PoV:

As I watched Y/N fight her teammate, I started to get kind of impressed you could say.. usually I'm not impressed by people, but.. she's different.
