The begin of the exams [8]

'Gaara..' You thought as you examined the body of the red haired boy with your eyes.

"G-gaara.." Temari stammered, taking a few steps back. You heard a gasp from Naruto and felt Konohamaru hugging your leg tightly.

Sand wrapped around Gaara and suddenly he disappeared and then reappeared right in front of you. Your eyes widened in shock as you caught eye contact with him again. His jade orbs looked cold, just like back then when you saw him a few months ago.

"It's you again.." He groaned as he shot a glare at you. You tensed up and felt the sweat roll down your face. Gaara sighed and turned around, just when he wanted to walk away, Sasuke jumped off the tree landing next to you.

"Hey! You!" Sasuke shouted and the three sand siblings stopped.

"Me?" Temari smiled.

'Oh gosh- please. No. Not another one.'

"No, the one with the red hair." Sasuke groaned as he glared at Gaara. The short red haired boy slowly turned around and examined Sasukes body with his eyes before replying to duckbutts question.

"I'm Gaara... of the desert.. but I'm curious as well.. what's your name?" Gaara questioned the Uchiha boy.

"My name is Sasuke Uchiha." He answered with a smirk on his face.

Gaara nodded before focusing his eyes on you.

"What about you? Who're you.." He asked. You felt your heart sink into your shoes.

'Did he really completely forget about me again?' You sighed as you looked down with a slightly sad look on your face, but before anyone could notice you shook your head and responded to the redhead.

"I'm Y/N Anko." You introduced yourself with a slight bow.

"Y/N Anko, huh?" Gaara mumbled before turning around again to head in the other direction.

Once he was gone you let out a sigh of relief, his presence was just so intimidating that your body tensed up as soon as he was close to you.

"Y/N? Do you know that boy?" Sasuke asked, still standing next to you. You looked up at the raven haired boy, then back down at the floor.

"Yes, I do." You replied as some of your h/c hair flew into your face, tickling your nose.

"I'll explain everything to you, let's go eat some ramen now though." You suggested as you looked at Sasuke, then at Naruto and then at Sakura. Konohamaru let go of your leg and stared up at you.

"Can we come with you as well?" He questioned you.

"Uh- maybe another time Konohamaru.." You said petting the little boys head.

"I'm sorry."

"Hmpf. Fine whatever, come on guys let's go." Konohamaru groaned and walked away with his friends.

"So? Can you explain to us now what is going on between you and that weird Gaara guy?" Naruto asked. You, Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura were gathered at Ichiraku. You were sitting in between Sasuke and Naruto, while Sakura was sitting in the other side of Sasuke.

"Alright.. well.." You began to explain.

After a few minutes you had finished explaining everything to team 7 and you were slurping some ramen, while the others looked at you with shocked expressions on their faces.
