another trip?!

in the end, all i could do is watch. tohru did all the talking while im lost in my thoughts. at least we manage to meet him.

i really hope he'll try calling uotani-san... somehow it really break my heart..

after that, momiji-kun accompany us to his house and let us rest for a bit before sending us to the gate.

it's been a while since that day me and tohru went to the sohma compound. and since that, tohru have been looking down. she always looks like she's in a daze. i heavily sigh as i walk to her and put my hand on her shoulder.

"you're good, tohru?"

she immediately turn her head to look at me before flashing me a smile before nodding.

"i guess things will not always work out the way we want but at least we tried. maybe in the future when we woke up from sleep and suddenly miss someone so dearly that we want to see that person immediately, that person will feel the same too. at least for those who's still here, right?" she looks at me with watery eyes.

i understand that feeling so much, tohru..

"yeah..."

i walk back to my seat and start studying, i just want to keep myself busy. i don't want to think about anything.

and just like that another day passed by.

and i completely forgot that we have a school trip tomorrow yup.

earlier, in the student council club room

"nao, do you want anything as your souvenir?" yuki asked the first year secretary.

"no" nao answer plainly.

that's just like him...
wait, souvenir???
is he going on a trip?
he didn't even tell me??

i pout as i look at yuki who's now asking machi the same question. a slight feeling of jealousy rose in my chest as i shrugged the feeling by slapping both of my cheeks softly.

"uh, miwa? are you alright?" yuki ask as he walk to me and put his hand on my forehead.

"you're fine...but why do you looks so troubled?" he bend down to match my height as he stares right into my eyes. our faces are too close for our own good. i back away as i covered my now red face with my hand before answering him.

"eh? im fine yuki, don't worry. it's just that uh, i don't know you're going on a trip?"

"what do you mean, im going on a trip? miwa..we are going on a trip. the second year are having a school trip, remember?"

"huh?" is all i could say.

i really forgot about it, i mean with all that's happening you really can't blame me. but still..i frown and mentally hit myself for forgetting.

"it's okay, things happen miwa. now, how about we wrapped up here and go home early?" yuki say to everyone as he ruffle my hair.

"you should go now and prepare your things okay? I'll see you tomorrow" he whisper in my ear before taking my hand and squeeze it. he then shot me a mischievous smile before leaving.

i stood there for a few minutes, still too stunned by his action.

where did the real yuki go?

i grabbed my hair in frustration before letting out a mute scream.
not long after a smile crept on my face and i feel myself grinning like an idiot.

i quickly pack up my things and head home happily. even though my father and mother are home, it didn't bother me at all. instead i just goes straight to my room and plopped down on the bed.

im acting like a fool all because of you..

yuki's pov

i bury my face on the table while waiting for honda-san for dinner.

"ugh..."

"what's wrong yuki-kun? you've been like that ever since you come home from school? did anything happen?" shigure ask, quite worry because yuki is acting weird rn. and he has never seen yuki like this.

"the damn rat must have done something during club session. he's fine during class" kyo add.

"nothing happened, shigure-san. and shut up stupid cat" yuki glare at kyo who's now glaring at him too.

"must have something to do with miwa-chan then" shigure grin as he see yuki's face reddened at the mention of the white haired girl.

"what's with miwa-chan?" tohru ask while serving the food.

"it's nothing, honda-san. she just.. forgot our trip tomorrow, so i remind her. in kinda bold way" yuki blush as he whisper the last sentence, hoping that no one hear that. but ofc, shigure just happen to have a very good hearing.

"ara ara? since when are you the bold type yuki-kun" shigure teased.

and yuki can't ever utter a word as he's blushing too hard.

"a trip? we have a trip?" tohru ask clueless.

another clueless girl..

kyo sigh as he explain everything to his not so official girlfriend. while yuki is relief that the attention is not on him anymore.

why did i act like that with her anyway?

he thought as he smile to himself.

i don't have motivation to write ಥ‿ಥ
