8:00am...an unusual time for me to be up at...it wasn't my drinking that has me awake at this time, but, something has kept me awake for most of the night. I've been hearing voices...seeing things in the corners of my home....human figures. It was like I've seen them all before...seen their faces that is. But I couldn't find out when and where...it was strange. Either way I'm already wide awake and can't get back to sleep, I might as well stop by the liquor store. I get myself out of the chair and do my normal routine, just earlier than normal, and take my leave from my home. While I drive down my usual route, I notice more people on the sidewalks. It's kinda strange because not many people are out this early in the morning in the neighborhood. Then I start seeing people standing on the sidewalk looking at me...people I know...but their suppose to be dead. I know their suppose to be dead because I solved their cases many years ago! I think I'm just seeing things since I haven't had enough sleep...I focus my eyes back on the road. I arrive at the liquor store in about twelve minutes shaving three minutes off of my usual arrival time. When I exit my car I see a coffee shop right next to it. It's always been there since four years ago, get's good business, but I never went inside since I'm not a coffee person. But I stand next to my car for a good ten minutes just looking back and forth at the two places before I finally decide on choosing one....I chose the coffee shop. Right when I walk in, a door jingle goes off and a young women possibly in her early 20s greets me with a smile and a soft hello. She has nice healthy black hair that is tied into a ponytail so she can wear the stores standard uniform hat which matches a black collared shirt. Her name tag has the name Emily engraved into it, she's the only one working here as well at the moment, but since it's only me here it won't be stressful for her to take an order.

"Good morning sir, what would you like?"

"Just give me a normal cup of coffee....a lot of sugar please."

"I'll get to it then. You can have a seat if you'd like."

She turns to face the coffee machine and begins to make my coffee as I get a seat near the shops window. The place is quiet mostly but you can hear the low volume of music playing in the background and the coffee machine doing it's job. Kinda relax actually...I guess this isn't so bad....it has been a while since I actually had coffee. I hear the door's little jingle go off again signaling the arrival of another customer, Emily doing saying hello to them. When I look up, the customer is Cassy...wasn't expecting her to be in a place like this. Once she put her order in she turns around and notices me, a smirk coming across her face while she walked over to me.

"Well well, if it isn't Detective Carter~ My elder partner~"

"Mmmn, what are you doing here...I would have thought a rich girl like you would be drinking coffee at home."

"We were out, sadly, so I decided to catch a bus down here."

"You? Catching a bus? Funny."

"I told you before, I don't really want to stand out.", she takes the seat right across from me, interlocking her fingers together to rest her chin on them. "So~ What made you want to come to get coffee and not liquor?"

"...didn't get enough sleep..."

"Well I can tell, your not even aggressive towards me, hehe~"

"I can be aggressive if you want me to..."

"Hmmm...Nah, I rather enjoy the peaceful moment~"

"...did that Skull guy say anything to you when you caught him?...Anything?"

"No, why?"

"Just wondering...I've...every since yesterday happen...I've been hearing...voices...and seeing people I knew...all dead by the way..."
