Not long after I moved into my new home, Jenn immediately moved in a week later. By my surprise she didn't have much stuff when she moved in, which I found strange because a women as beautiful as her I would believe would have a ton of things. As I helped her with some boxes, I took a break to look through one that had old pictures in them. There was a lot from our childhood up to our final years of high school. I took a long look at a photo of me, Jenn, and Catherine after our graduation from high school. Back then Jenn had her hair in a pony tail, Catherine's hair was shorter and only stopped just under her chin. In the photo I was standing in the middle between them, Jenn having her arm around my neck and pulling me close to her while she had a thumbs up and a big smile on her face, and Catherine just standing there with a small soft smile with her hands behind her back. Me on the other hand, I wasn't smiling since I was basically being choked out by Jenn at the moment....where she had such strength I'll never understand where she got it. I then feel someone lean on my back, wrapping their arms around me, noticing its Jenn, she lays her head on my shoulder.
"Those were the good days huh? Full of excitement, dreams, love, and me crushing other guys hearts and keeping other girls away from you!"
"Don't forget you always dragged me to parties I never wanted to go to."
"Ah you know you enjoyed them! You always enjoyed events when I was around."
"Mostly because you and your sister were the only people I talked to back then and hung around."
"Yet girls fell so easily for you. You were so quiet, mysterious, and always to yourself when we weren't around. Plus you were the cutest guy in the entire school, every girl wanted to either date you or be the first to take your virginity."
"And every guy would leave their girlfriend just to get a shot at you. You were popular, smart, beautiful, nice figure, yet you crushed them all with just a few words and a smile."
"Why thank you~, I did it all because you were the only one I loved."
"I guess that's true. You know I'm surprised Cassy hasn't—"
Right as I said her name, Cassy walked in with a bag in her hand and a smile on her face.
"Good evening neighbors~!"
"I swear...its like she knows when I'm going to say her name..."
"What was that Detective?"
"I said why aren't you at work!"
"Why aren't you at work?"
"I have a reason as you can see!"
"Hey I have a reason too.", she walks over to Jenn and wraps an arm around her smiling. All I do is give an annoyed look at her till my phone suddenly rings. When I answer it the Captain is throwing a new task at me saying I need to go meet up with Detective Griff and Waye for a team up. After I tell Cassy and Jenn about it, they both head out the door rushing to my car. It seems it'll be more than a small team up...but on the other hand we may get the job done quickly like this. We head to a small hotdog stand in the city where Griff and Waye are waiting for us eating hotdogs. As we exit the car, Griff finished his fifth hotdog and throws his trash away.
