Link's horse sprinted across Hyrule's fields, nearly dodging most attacks from newly spawned monsters and beasts alike. The night was growing long, and link's eye lids were growing heavy. He would have to make camp soon. He found an abandoned structure among the ruins they traveled within. With a quick patrol around it he felt it was safe enough for the night. Link carefully got off the horse as he held onto (y/n).
He laid her down as gently as he could, still so unsure of her presence. Taking a step back he tied his horse and began to make a small camp fire. After all was said and done, link relaxed and sat by the fire. He sighed as he pulled out the Slate, looking at the same message.
Wake Last Resort?
Yes No
Link looked back at the yiga girl laying a few feet away. Her eyes still glazed over, her form still stiff, master sword still in hand, all of it unsettled him. Link then got up and took his cloak from his shoulders. He balled it up best he could, knelt down, and placed it under (y/n)'s head. He ran a hand through his hair as he looked down at her. Link had seen prophecies become fulfilled, beasts bigger than castles, and even spoken to the dead, but for some reason none of that came close to what he felt at that moment.
It was so uncomfortable to see her like this yet he couldn't look away. It wasn't fear, it wasn't sadness, it was... unknown. He had slept for 100 years, waking to a new world, and still he's never been so confused. Link slowly raised his hand to (y/n)'s face, but before his finger tips reached her cheek, the amulet around her neck began to flash blue and orange. A weird repeating sound came from the sheikah Slate. Link quickly looked at the screen.
Project Last Resort requests to be charged, as it's battery is running low.
Please do so at your earliest convenience."What?..." link muttered to himself. The sound would not stop, slowly growing louder, and louder. "..shit, shit!" Link tried to find a way to stop it, but nothing on the slate would work.
Project Last Resort will power off until charged sufficiently.
Powering off in 10..

The sound was getting hard to bare. Link grimaced as he struggled with the slate, but with it being so loud, it began to attract unwanted attention... a white and grey Lynel trudged around the ruins, with a Savage Lynel sword resting on it's shoulder. It's head quickly turned towards a small structure where the blaring sound was impossible to ignore. It approached with it's sword at the ready.

Link had quit trying to stop the noise, and instead tried to muffle it, snatching the cloak from under (y/n)'s head and wrapping around the slate, squeezing it tight, but even then the sound still screamed.

Link threw the cloak and slate aside and turned towards (y/n), without thinking he reached out towards the amulet and ripped it from her neck... silence. The noice stopped, link begin to catch his breath as he realized how fast his heart was racing. He held look at the amulet he held... all color had vanished, only a cold black remained in the crystal.
(Y/n) groaned as she slowly sat up, rubbing her temple. Link stood and readied his sword, tightly grasping the amulet in his other hand. (Y/n)'s vision began to clear, her eye's widened in shock as she looked at the hero, then slowly gazed above above him.
Link, confused turned to look behind him, then he saw it. The Lynel.
"Shit-"
Link leaped out of the way as the Lynel's sword crashed down. (Y/n) screamed and scrambled to the back corner of the ruin. The Lynel rose his sword once again and turned to where link had gone. But all it saw was Link's horse trying to escape its tie. With Revali's Gale, link flew into the air behind the Lynel and pulled out his bow.He flew around, jump from his glider and aimed. The lynel roared as the arrow shot through it's eye.
Link landed and hid behind a tree. Reading his next attack he looked at the beast. The lynel spun and scratched at its face, roaring, it huffed and looked over to the path behind him, (y/n) was staggering away, her red yiga uniform reflected the moon's light well, well enough for the Lynel's sabotaged sight to still see her. The Lynel growled and began to run towards her.
"No no no no no!" Link exclaimed and he ran to his horse, hopped on and rode towards the lynel.
(Y/n)'s past injuries had still not healed, she winced and she tried to run, not noticing the master sword that had dropped from her hand, she tripped and fell onto the cold stone beneath her. The beast instantly caught up, scooping the yiga girl from the ground and brought her close to it's fangs, it roared once more as (y/n) scream in fear and pain. The lynel then suddenly released (y/n) as link slashed his sword down the beast's back. (y/n) fell to the ground, hitting her head quite hard. The lynel spun to link, with master sword in hand.
Link flew up into the air once more and led the beast away from (y/n), then pulling out his bow he shot explosive arrows into the Lynel. Over and over the Lynel would swing and the hero would parry it. The lynel would charge and link would dodge it. With one final arrow, the beast cried and fell to the ground. Link breathed heavily, putting away his bow and wiping sweat from his brow, but anxiety latched onto him again as he ran to (y/n).
She had crawled not far from where she fell, she was weak, trembling, but kept trying to get away. Her vision blurred in and out. Link slid down to her, carefully shifting her into his arms. Tears flowed down her cheeks as she cried. She weakly raised her hand and gently pressed against the hero's chest. "..please.. help me..." she cried meekly. Link instinctively grabbed hold of her hand. "Hey it's okay. I'm gonna help you, it's okay" he tried to reassure her as he looked over the damage.
Several lacerations across her legs and torso, most definitely broken ribs, and judging by her eyes and her sudden trust in him, a bad concussion. link whistled for his horse, and it quickly trotted over. Reaching for the satchel on its side, he rummaged around, pulling out the last health position he had. It wasn't much but it would do. Link popped the cork and slowly guided it to (y/n)'s lips.
Slowly she drank and the largest lacerations began to close. Link cradled (y/n) in his arms and stood, walking back to the small camp he made. Camp fire still lit, Sheikah slate still rolled away in his cloak, his horse following close behind.
The sun rise ever so slightly peaked over the mountains. Link shifted and sat against wall, the yiga girl resting in his lap, head laying on his chest. Link slowly rubbed his thumb across her cheek... to help with the shock... the shock. It was then he remembered the amulet, and did his best to tie it back around her neck, "Hey... hey?" Link gently nudged the girl. "Don't fall asleep, it's not gonna be good for you head." Link new what kind of condition the girl was in, but his body would not allow him to move. He was exhausted to say the least.
(Y/n) murmured. Link sighed. "...what's your name?" He asked. "....(y/n)" she whispered. "...(y/n)?... what's your... favorite color (y/n)?" The hero asked. Simple questions were asked back and forth until the sun rose past the mountains and the small camp fire turned to ash and charcoal. Link felt a second wind coming on, and took a deep breath.
"Alright, let's get you to a friend of mine, he should be able to heal you better." Link yawned, (y/n) nodded. Then the two got back on the horse, and made there way to Robbie...
