10 years have passed since (y/n) has been brought into the yiga clan, and much has changed. Master Aiko passed away of old age, and Kogah became the new chief, he was a great leader. Even though his duties increased, he was still there for (y/n). But this day was especially important though, it marked the 10 year anniversary of (y/n) joining the clan, but the clan renamed the day her birthday. (Y/n) had been waiting for this moment for years now. Because today, Kogah would finally take her outside the hideout.
The clan would never let (y/n) outside the hideout, telling her how dangerous the world was. But as she looked up at the night sky, she so desperately wanted to see what else there was to this world. The same sparkling sky covers all lands, so how bad could the rest of the world be if it's already so beautiful?
"Reo please hurry! I need to go meet with kogah!" (Y/n) complained as Reo braided her (h/c) hair. "Patience child," he laughed. (y/n) huffed and crossed her arms. She wore brow trousers and a red tunic, as the traditional yiga clothes were much to big for her. "Annnnnnnnnnd done!" He smiled. (Y/n) quickly stood up from where she was sitting and ran out the door of the clan's quarters. "Thank you Reo!" She called out as she left. "Be safe!" Reo called out as the door shut. Another member called out from behind. "Oh she's growing up so fast! My heart can hardly take it!" Reo laughed. "She reminds me so much of Kogah, he was so impatient when we were children."
(Y/n) ran through the twisting halls of the hide out, until she finally came down the long stone staircase and out from behind the long tapestries. Kogah stood by the door way that lead outside. "Perfect timing (y/n), the sun is about to rise!" Kogah exclaimed. (y/n) smiled brightly. "Let's go!
Let's go! Let's go!" (y/n) called or as she pulled on Kogah's sleeve."Hold on a sec, before we go we have to change into our disguises! Do you remember what I taught you?" Kogah kneeled down to (y/n)'s height as he asked. (y/n) nodded her head and took a deep breath, she took her hands together and centered them to her chest. Soon red talismans circled around her. With a flash her yiga clothes turned into child's traveling clothes.
"Well done (y/n)!" Kogah said as he clapped, and then did the same to his own clothes and mask. He wore traveler's clothes and a backpack, along with a simple short sword and a traveler's shield. it also revealed his raven hair and fair complexion.
"Now once we leave, we can't use our teleportation methods, regular people tend to get a little frightened by it. But I'm sure you already knew that." Kogah smiled.
As they left the hideout, (y/n) was ecstatic. She could see the opening to the grand Gerudo desert. She walked cheerfully as she held onto Kogah's hand. Soon enough they caught themselves a sand seal, and rode their way to the Gerudo canyon stable. As Kogah met with the stable worker, (Y/n) admired the sweet music that a rito man played. She started to dance around, the rito seemed to enjoy her performance. As she finished her dancing she went up to the rito man,
"Your music is beautiful!" She said with a smile. The rito laughed. "Why thank you little one, do you want to hear a song about this place?" He asked the young girl. "Oh absolutely!" She said with a little jump. "Very well, this song is about the hero of legend and a Great War that started long ago." The rito cleared his throat,
But before he could sing, Kogah came over to (Y/n) quickly. "I'm sorry sir, your music is lovely, but we must get going, we have a very long journey ahead of us!" Kogah said with a smile. The Rito smiled back, "no worries! I'm a traveler myself, if you find some time at a stable, there is a good chance I will be there! Then I can sing for you little one." The rito spoke, (Y/n) nodded in return.
