As (y/n) teleported back to the main entrance of the hideout, she crumbled to the ground, laying on her side, she grasped her torso, hacking up blood. Two guards that stood watch went into panic.
"Get help! (y/n) is hurt!" One called to the other. The first picked up (y/n) as gently as he could, but even then she cried out in pain. She was rushed to the medical ward, the clan was going into panic, as soon as everyone herd that (y/n) was hurt, everyone guarded them selves, for what kind of monster was able to hurt her so badly? But out of everyone, the most furious was Master Kogah. He ran into the medical ward, seeing (y/n) laying on a bed, a bloody mess. Her hands shook violently, trying to hold onto life. Kogah quickly came to her side and grasped her hand.
"Listen to me (y/n), you're gonna be okay, I promise you, I promise you'll be okay..." tears stated to flow as (y/n)'s limbs were becoming limp. The best healers of the yiga clan surrounded (y/n), bandaging her wounds as fast as they could, trying to stop the blood loss. Master Kogah was pushed to the side, desperate to be by (y/n)'s side he tried to go back to her, but a firm grasp on his shoulder made him stop in his tracks.
"Kogah." Reo said sternly, "we need to let our doctors do their work." Reo added. Kogah looked back at the group of yiga healers surrounding (y/n), not even being able to see her. He slowly turned to Reo, and held onto him tightly, showing how angry he really was. "We need to find the monster that did this." He said sternly as the two walked out of the medical ward. "Kogah, revenge is not the answer-" "Don't you DARE argue with me on this! I'll gonna make sure the vermin that did that to her won't see tomorrow!" Kogah yelled.
"Are you insane?! We have no idea who we are dealing with! It could be the sheikah, the hero, hell it could even be a Lynel!" Reo fought back. "Everyone in this clan loves (y/n), we all want to help her, but going off in a mindless rage won't do anyone any good!" Reo added, anger seeming to decrease. Kogah clenched his fists, "I just... I can't lose her Reo....." tears started to fall behind his mask.
Reo sighed. "We won't my friend, we won't." He reassured Kogah with a hug. He gladly returned it.
...
A week passed before (y/n) awoke from her bed. Her eyelids slowly fluttered open as gentle sunbeams shines through a window. She looked around seeing Kogah by her side, grasping her hand.
"K-Kogah?" She spoke groggily. Kogah slowly looked up at the girl, his mask gone, dark circles laid under his eyes. "(y/n), you're awake..." a gentle smile laid on his face. (y/n) tried to sit up, but hissed in pain. Kogah eases her back down, "please rest, you've been through hell and back my child." Kogah replied. (y/n) looked down at her self, she wore an oversized tunic, her arms, legs, and torso were covered in blood stained bandages. She sighed.
"....I'm sorry...." she replied from the silence. "I thought you were going to die (y/n). Do you know how scary it was to see you when you came back... covered in blood...." Kogah trailed off. "Where were you... who did this?" Kogah asked sternly.
(y/n) starred up at the adobe ceiling and took a deep breath, "I went after the hero," she confessed. "I told you weren't ready (y/n), I trusted you not to go after him for this exact reason..." Kogah started at the ground, still holding (y/n)'s hand. "I know but..." she tried to speak but tears came to her eyes. "I... I killed him..." Kogah looked at (y/n) in shock. "What did you just say?" He questioned. "I killed him Kogah, with my own hands, but..." Kogah waited for her to finish. "He came back...." she stuttered out. "(y/n)..." (y/n) had cut off Kogah.
"I'm not lying, I saw his lifeless body come back from the dead, his wounds healed and he... he glowed..." (y/n) said through her tears. Kogah has herd of ancient powers, but nothing like this.
"Then he... he finished me off, like nothing happened..." (y/n) said in a raspy voice. "I was so close..." she turned her head to Kogah. "I was so, so close..." (y/n) smiled through her tears.
"(Y/n)..." Kogah spoke. "Sweet heart it's gonna be okay, it's okay." He said as he stroked her head.
"It's okay."
...
The sun shined high, The hideout has been quiet, for the first time in a long time, there haven't been nights of singing or laughter. Only dread. The hero was spotted going through the canyons, suspected to be on his way to defeat the Divine Beast Naboris. Ever since, the clan doesn't dare to make a sound. Everyone remains in fear of see the hero come near. (y/n) sits in bed wrapped in bandages, she reads a book as she rests. It's been two weeks, and five days since she came back from battling the hero, and she has been recovering well so far, but she is far from her original state.
There's a knock at the door.
"Come in," (y/n) says as she sets down her book. As the door opens she see Kogah enter.
"Just checking up on you, how are you feeling.?" Kogah says as he sits on the end of her bed. "I'm doing better, getting out bed is now pretty easy, and I'm able to stand up for a while. I've also started reading the old fairy tale book you read to me as a kid." (Y/n) says with smile as she raises the book. "I can't believe you still have this old thing." Kogah picks up the book and flips through the pages. "This one was your favorite, a mercenary by day, and a wolf by twilight." He chuckles and (y/n) roles her eyes. "I really only liked his side kick, the demon girl, remember?" (y/n) argued. "Ah right right, You use to play pretend with the others as her. It was quite a show" he gave another laugh as (Y/n) gave a playful kick. But they were both interrupted as a clan member crashed into the room.
"Master Kogah! The battle ground, it's him!"
Kogah immediately stood up and out the door. "Wait what's going on?" (y/n) asked, "don't worry, I'll be right back," Kogah spoke as he and the other clan member disappeared out of the room. "Hold on-" (y/n) stood from her bed and began to walk out of the room. Already loud rumbling came from outside. The walls shook and dust fell from above. (y/n) made her way to the main floor, clutching her side as she was becoming weak. A clan member ran up to her.
"Master Kogah has ordered an evacuation, we need to leave."
"What for?!" (y/n) asked,
"It's the hero, he's here."
