When Jackson arrived to the party it was no surprise how packed the house was. Sabrina always knew how to throw the absolute best birthday bash. That was besides the point now, as Jacksons thoughts were more clouded by Sabrina awaiting reaction. He brushed himself off as he got out the car, taking slow steps to Sabrina's front door. Right about now would be when she would be opening the present, she always liked to get that out of the way first so she could just dance and drink the rest of the night. Really it was so she would remember to thank everyone for their gifts, drunk sabrina had trouble remembering anything.
Carter walked in first and everyone turned stepping out of the way once they saw who was in the door way with him. Jackson stood there staring at Sabrina whose smile faded from her face as she stared shocked. She looked at Carter then at Jackson. Dropping her things she began to finally walk towards Jackson. Then she stopped when she saw the girl behind him, the girl that took Jackson away from her. Without a second glance Sabrina ran upstairs, Jackson waiting no longer to follow her up only to have the door slammed in his face. He pressed himself against the door pleading with Sabrina to let him in.
Jasmine stood next to Carter staring at everyone confused as why they were all giving her a weird unwelcoming look. She quickly realized when she heard a loud bang come from upstairs, as well as what Sabrina said next...
"Bullshit! If you came for me, why the hell is she with you?" Jasmine shook her head in shame as she looked at Carter mouthing for him to drive her home, he shook his head no before pulling her upstairs where Sabrina was throwing the things that Jackson had gotten her over the years as she continued to tell him how much he's fucked up for leaving and everything else that happened. Jackson could only stand in her doorway nodding his head.
"Damn, this girl sure knows how to spice her character up" Jasmine said watching the whole scene. Sabrina stopped as she saw Jasmine. "If you want me to have a good birthday, take your girl and please leave. I'm trying my absolute best to move on, you shouldn't have come back." Jackson took a deep breathe he came here to make things right and even though he didn't have the best control over his anger and Sabrina was definitely pushing him to the edge.
"Stop it," was all he could say as he took a seat on her bed pulling Jasmine in the room and closing the door. He nudged Jasmine indicating for her to go on and tell her side. Jasmine sat next to Jackson, Sabrina on the verge of tears, from the built up anger and sadness she was letting all out. "Listen, Jackson didn't know about Carson and I, and you can't blame him for not being able to read your mind and stop the wedding. Also, I'm sorry for ruining your wedding in the first place, I honestly don't know what came over me." When Jasmine finished talking she left leaving just Jackson and Sabrina in the room alone.
Sabrina looked at Jackson, as she took a seat next to him, "I just wanted you to stop me, I'm not mad about anything else but if you love me why do you continue to stay quiet." The question slapped Jackson in the face and before he could say anything Sabrina already knew what he was going to try and say, and she made it clear that she thought it was just a bullshit excuse, "And don't give me that bullshit answer about how it was never the right time. Cause fuck Jackson when would the right time have been? How can you tell when it's the right time?"
