Sabrina sat in her bed next to her sister Sarah and Izzy, Jackson's sister. The three girls had been up in Sabrina's room watching movies with her in silence, while she coped about Jackson leaving again. They had been up in her room for hours now watch any and every series they could find. Sabrina hadn't cried nor show any emotions the whole night, the girls were getting worried about her, but they would quickly realize that they shouldn't be worried about her showing any emotions and more about how to keep her from having a mental breakdown.
Sabrina's phone rang and she slowly pulled it out of her pocket and answered the phone without seeing who it was, thinking it was only Carter.
"Sabrina?"
Sabrina clutched her phone tightly as Jackson voice rang through her ears. Her eyes started to tear up and her mouth became dry as she tried to form words to answer Jackson back.
"I think this is your voicemail, you're either sleeping or ignoring me which is understandable, I left again, and it wasn't because of you, it was me this time, I just needed some time to myself, I needed to get away from everything that was scaring me. I'm sorry I didn't say goodbye I...uh...just didn't think you wanted to see me. Listen I don't know how long this thing is going to record, but I'm at this party right now and maybe it's all the alcohol that Jasmine and her friends drowned me in, but I just wanted to call you and hear you voice, I wanted to tell you that I love you, and I miss you, and I'm wearing my necklace still I'm sorry I ever took it off."
Sabrina didn't notice the tears falling down her face, her hands were shaking and her heart was beating faster than ever.
"Jackson" Sabrina says, finally after listening to him, "Hello? Sabrina?" Jackson says.
"Sabrina are you okay?" Izzy says looking over at Sabrina as tears kept running down her face but she was still, silent, like she was in shock.
"Sabrina can you hear me?" Jackson speaks again into the phone waiting for Sabrina to answer, but she didn't she removed the phone from her face as she hung up the phone. She sat in silence, laying her head on Izzy's shoulder as the tears continued falling from her eyes. The two girls didn't know what to do but to let her let it out.
So they did, not knowing anything that going on and being patient with her.
Jackson woke up looking around seeing Skye and Jasmine laying next to him, he quickly but quietly hurried out of the bed, letting out a loud breathe when he realized he was still in his clothes. "Thank god!" He says before grabbing his phone turning around to leave the house, not quiet sure how he was going to go.
"Oh good you're up" Peach says looking at Jackson from the kitchen as she set down a cup of coffee in front of some steaming soup, Jackson slowly walked towards her as he looked around her kitchen. "I made hangover soup, it helps I promise." Jackson smiled sitting down and grabbing his spoon before emptying the bowl of soup.
Jackson looks in the cup before setting it back down, "I don't think coffee goes with hangover soup." Peach laughs shaking her head, "Yeah I guess you're right." Peach says before sitting in the chair, "Why'd you come here with Jasmine?" Peach says her smile had faded and she was in a more serious mode now.
"She invited me, I agreeded because we're friends." Jackson explains, Peach nods her head knowing the Jasmine wasn't the type to bring a boy around her friends if she wasn't serious about them being together for the long run.
"Yeah sure, friends." Peach says rolling her eyes.
"Seriously we're just friends, she's in love with someone else and so am I." Peach tried to not show her confusion before nodding her head and leaving Jackson to eat some one else soup. Jackson sighed shoving spoonful's of soup down his throat. As he was doing so he suddenly remembered his phone call with Sabrina. He moves his soup out of the way before laying his head down on the table. He roughly ran his finger through his hair before getting out of his seat. He checked his phone seeing a missed call from both Izzy and Sarah, and he just knew he was introuble.
"Fuck me!" he yelled out before dialing Izzy back first, She answered before the first ring could finish.
"Jackson! What the hell, get your ass back here right now and fix her." Izzy yells through the phone, Jackson sighs, knowing that he probably hurt Sabrina when he left, only to call and hurt her even more.
"I was drunk, I didn't mea-" Izzy cuts him off, "Jackson, you being away from her is only going to make it worse for both of you, you can't start over with a broken heart, there was no closure, no reason, she can't be happy thinking she drove you away, and that you never want to see her again."
"Izzy I'm doing this for the both of us, before I stay too long and she falls out of love with me. We both need space right now, we need time, time to grow and heal. I love Sabrina more than anything, and since I love her I'm letting go with the knowledge that since I love her we will both come back to each other, we always do." Jackson says Izzy finally calmed herself knowing Jackson was partially right.
"She still needs closure, so she can at least try to work towards being happy again." Izzy says which Jackson agrees with, "tell her what I said then, she's not gonna answer my phone call a second time." Izzy sighs before agreeing to let Sabrina know why Jackson was being distant.
"Come back soon, Jack and in one piece please." Izzy says before hanging up the phone. Jackson smiles looking at his call log seeing Sabrina as the second recent call.
"With the space that I'm giving you, I only hope that we both heal in time for us to come back to each other before you fall in love with someone new."
