Sunlight poured in through the window. A woman in her mid twenties rolled over to the other side. Her brain could not comprehend the fact that it was empty. She pulled the blanket over her head. It didn't work. Not only did the blankets not block out the offending light, but they also made it difficult for her to breathe. She pushed them back in agitation and shut her eyes as tightly as she could.

She yelled in annoyance, "Ashwineyy! Indha Tube Light ah off panriya illaya?"

She registered a familiar voice yelling back at her before she shut her eyes again, "Nee than Tube light uh. Athu sunlight"

It was just another weekend in the household of the famous couple of kollywood. Though he was an early riser, Ashwin had slept in that day, but still managed to wake up before his wife, who was still curled up in bed.

"Sivaangi maa! Wake up now! 12 ku mela aaguthu time! Ipdiya pannuvanga?" He hollered.

Annoyed at not getting a reply, he opened the door of the room, and figured that the room did not look like this when he left. The curtains had been drawn, shutting out the sunlight. The room's temperature was freezing. The room looked like a dedication for Hypnos, the greek god of sleep.

He shut out the sudden urge to fall asleep beside her. He switched off the air conditioning, turned the fan off and opened the curtains, letting in the sunlight. He took the blankets off her, earning protests from the half asleep woman.

"Ezhundiri Sivaangi maa please! It's 12 already. Naa lunch ready panniten. Ippo lam breakfast kooda illa direct ah lunch ku thaan ezhundirukkura." he accused.

Sivaangi tried to put up the most pleading puppy face she could, trying to not show the sleepiness on her face, "Ashwineyy 5 minutes thoongikuren please!"

The doorbell rang, distracting Ashwin. He went to open the door, and was confronted by the postman, who, was apparently a big fan. After a series of wishes and selfies, he was left with the task of waking Sivaangi up again, who had taken this chance to continue her sleep.

Ashwin sighed. "Sivaangi! Naa nethu sonnathu nyabagam irukka illaya?"

Somehow, Sivaangi opened her eyes wide, jumped up from bed, brushed her teeth, came out and stood infront of him, blinking cutely.

Ashwin grinned, feeling smug. He had told her the previous night about his plan to go on a solo trek. Ever since he mentioned it, Sivaangi had been asking him to take her along. She had asked, faked crying and even threatened to not talk to him. Ashwin agreed after sometime, annoyed at her constant nagging, but he had laid out conditions and said if she wanted to go along, she had to obey them until he booked the tickets.

First, she had to complete all her upcoming recordings and shooting in two weeks.

Second, she had to do her share of chores which she always tricked him into doing.

Three, she must not make him tell her something that she had to do more than thrice.

If she could keep all of this up, he would take her with him.

Sivaangi had complained that he was treating her like a 5 year old, but Ashwin stood his ground with his rules. So, Sivaangi had agreed, mumbling something about taking revenge later.

And here she was, doing the dishes after lunch while planning sketching a plan to break Ashwin's PS. 'Sheii! Sunday adhuvuma paathram kaluva vachutiye Ashwineyy! Naa un kooda varaum nu thaane sonnen? Avlo periya thappa? Enna ithellam panna sollitu anga poi PS kooda romance panriya? Iru vizhara maari vizhundhu un PS ah gaali panren!' She cursed in her mind.
