Audrey went into the woods.

"Guys, I don't think this is a good idea!"

She tried to turn back, but it was too late, the woods never seemed to end. She saw a wolf. This was no ordinary wolf, this wolf's fur was as silver as the moon's shimmer. She thought

"This was it, this is the end."

But it was just the beginning. She thought she saw the wolf's head move and the look in its eyes saying

"Come over here."

She followed the wolf, ready to be eaten. Audrey followed the strange wolf. They swooped around trees, ducked under branches, and jumped over stones. Audrey struggled to keep up but then encouraged herself to keep going. The wolf took her to two fallen trees creating the shape of a triangle, in a way she's seen before.

"Why did you bring me here?"

The wolf turned into a girl about the same age as Audrey.

"Because you are destined for greatness."

The wolf-girl tapped Audrey's head, and Audrey felt... different.

The wolf-girl told Audrey the way out of the woods, and Audrey left the woods and remembered where she had seen that triangle before: It was the symbol of the gods. She thought for a moment,

"Wasn't this in the book I read earlier? Was that the actual goddess of the wolves, Lupa?"

Audrey made it back to the school with everyone still staring at her.

"Isn't recess over," she asked.

"It's only been ten minutes," Alex responded.

"I was in there for about an hour," She said.

"We watched you go in and you vanished," Jimmy said.

"I got lost, and then this wolf turned into a girl, and she tapped my head, and told me how to get out."

She heard whispers such as:

"She was tapped?"

"Wolf-Girl?"

"The myths are true!"

The teacher said it was time to go back inside. Audrey walked to the door expecting to have to shove by, but no. Her classmates moved out of the way to clear a path for her.
