The rain poured down on the village, it had been three days since Audrey's death. The battle was finished, and there was no reason for celebration. The funeral for NightHowl, Dusk, and Lupa would commence. Andrew stood at the head of the meeting hall going to give a speech.

"Unfortunately, we are unsure of whether or not NightHowl will make a full recovery, and we aren't expecting it. I know that this village has only known her for a few weeks, but without her, we wouldn't have been standing freely here. Without her, we wouldn't have had hope. That hope that she gave us has brought us together to face our fears. All of us owe her our lives. I'd like to believe that when BloodWolf killed her, she thought that she destroyed that hope. She only made that hope stronger. If my sister, Dusk were still alive, we would be celebrating, and not mourning. Because of this, Luna and I have decided to have her executed unless she tells us her true intentions. Unfortunately, we will also not be staying in The Lost Wolves due to the chaos, and loss this village has gone through, and will not return until things come down. Now, Luna will say a few words about NightHowl."

Andrew walked back into the crowd and Alicia stood in his place.

"Thank you, DeadEye. I had met her ten years ago when I was still the village's chooser. When I met her, I knew she would be a powerful warrior, not knowing that she would die in battle. Before she became one of us, I met her on earth, we got to know each other, and we became friends. I went back to earth often because my mom put a slight bit more pressure on my back than usual, and I had only realized after the bombing of the meeting hall, the place where you all stand right now, that my mother was trying to prepare me for becoming the next Lupa. I was very upset when I realized this, for it was too late, she had died in the bombing. NightHowl did her best to cheer me up. It was then that I realized that I had to let go of my loss because I was NightHowl's mentor. She wouldn't have found her wolf form if DeadEye had not been seeking our help. Without them, our village would be lost. NightHowl and DeadEye did something no one else could, they stopped the unstoppable. With NightHowl's smart mind, and DeadEye's mighty paw, we defeated an enemy that could not have been defeated otherwise. Now that the ceremony is over, DeadEye and I will leave, for the war is over."
