It was decided that you would be traveling back with them to Starkiller Base to bring your plan to the council. There you would not only have to convince a whole bunch of higher ups that you knew what you were doing, but the man who was in charge of both of the projects that you would be insulting.

Swallowing your fear, you boarded Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle. It was too late now. The flight seemed to go in the blink of an eye. Or maybe you just didn't notice the four hour trip due to having your nose shoved in the files you had prepared.

"Welcome to headquarters." Delilah stated to you as the huge planet that doubled as a base came into view.

It was much larger than you ever expected. White delicate snow encased the entire planet. The white landscape stood out against the weapon that divided the base into two sides and spanned all the way across. No wonder this costs so much you thought to yourself.

"The meeting is at 1900 sharp. I will grab you from our quarters when it is time." Kylo said in passing as he departed the shuttle. He was off to finish more business leaving you and Delilah by yourself.

Starkiller was even more beautiful than the pictures you had seen on your datapad. Each wall was beautifully illuminated and the metal shined. The air was so clean you couldn't tell that you were breathing in filtered air.

The two of you went back to their quarters to await the meeting. There you went over your presentation with Delilah who had begun to feed you horror stories of the General.

You began to doubt your abilities to present this to the man who was in charge of both projects. If what they were saying about him was true then he was ruthless and only cared about his success. Why would he listen to a lower ranking Officer? The only thing you had going for you was that you were a successful officer on Batuu... and untouchable thanks to Kylo.

"Ready?" Kylo asked as he arrived to escort you to the meeting.

Nodding you got up and took one last look in the mirror.

I can do this. You thought to yourself.

"The meeting starts precisely at 1900. The first 30 minutes will be a recap of what's been going on. After that is when you will present your plan. Then the council will vote." he briefed as the two of you headed towards the main bridge.

"What about the General? Does he have more say compared to the others?" You questioned nervously.

"Yes and no. He is Snoke's second in command, and he is in charge. If anything the ginger cookie will fight you on the matter simply based on your relationship to me and his pride." The modulated voice sent chills down your spine.

"Great." You breathed.

"Commander Ren."

All those in the council room stood for the appearance of Kylo. Their masked leader let out a grunt and went to sit at the head of the table. Leaving you to take a seat between a random assortment of leaders. You kept quiet and your head down until the meeting began trying your best to avoid eye contact with any of them. None of them seemed to even address your presence in the room. It was if you were a fly on the wall.

The first thirty minutes of the meeting was just as Kylo described, a recap of statistics. Not that you were paying much attention, because your mind was going one thousand different directions.

Your thoughts were cut off when a powerful and bone chilling voice spoke up, "Well if that's it, then I have places to be."

As soon as your eyes made contact with the person who spoke, you knew who the voice had to belong to. A man with hair the color of wild fire and skin so fair that it made the fresh laid snow seem the color of cream.
