T/W: Explicit language, degrading, talk of weapons, blood, injuries, etc.

The next two days seemed to go incredibly slow as you awaited to meet the Supreme Leader. The anticipation made you a complete wreck. However, you did your best to hide it when not alone in your quarters.

Luckily, General Hux didn't seem to purposefully irritate you the past couple of days. Rather the two of you worked in complete silence, and only acknowledged each other when it was absolutely necessary. But for the most part you worked separately.

During that time, the new plans for Starkiller weapon got approved by all the engineers. They would start remodeling it any day now. Due to this all your focus shifted from the stormtrooper program to the weapon.

As far as your progress went with Kylo, you hadn't seen him since the day in his shuttle. As much as you wanted to talk to him, you needed to distance yourself to focus on your meeting with Snoke.

Tapping your pen on your papers, you tried to focus on your work. However, that didn't seem possible as Snoke was destined to arrive at any moment.

"General?" your voice trembled.

You saw Hux hold out his hand. He must have been waiting for you to place whatever you needed in his hand since that was your main form of communication.

"Uhmm, I don't have anything for you, sir." you said.

"Oh." he brought his eyes up to meet yours and he raised an eyebrow. He must have noticed your body language.

"I was wondering if you had any ETA on when the Supreme Leader was set to arrive? I've been looking for an announcement but can't find anything." you sheepish looked down at your feet and twirled your thumbs.

"Supreme Leader Snoke will come when he is ready. I suggest you just sit in the meantime and work. Distract yourself." he said going back to his work.

"Yes sir." you said as you walked back towards your desk.

"He won't kill you." he called from his desk. This got your attention as you turned back to Hux.

"You have proven to be a great asset to the Order." he said, still not turning his attention away from his work.

Not knowing what to say you went back to your paper, or more to tapping your pen. After a few more minutes of silence, a shadow appeared over you. Looking up, your eyes met General Hux.

"I just received word that he will be landing within the hour. Freshen up before he arrives. " he commanded.

Instantly, you could feel your palms start to sweat and your blood run cold. The Supreme Leader was almost here. The realization hadn't hit you until in that moment. You couldn't find your words, and instead found yourself blanking staring up at the General.

"I remember what it was like the first time I was called upon by the Supreme Leader. I must have gone over what I was going to say to him a hundred times. Of course, I didn't say any of it. Go. Don't keep him waiting nor speak up against him." he said, making sure to throw a little jab at you towards the end.

Nervously, you nodded and stood up, grabbed your stuff and headed back to your quarters. Standing in the mirror, you almost didn't recognize yourself. Dark circles fell underneath your eyes, you seemed thinner everywhere, the coloring you once had was gone... you turned away from this girl you didn't recognize and turned on the shower.

The hot water felt good as it fell upon your skin, relaxing your tense muscles as it did so. You wanted to stay in there forever, but knew you had to meet the Supreme Leader in less than an hour.
