{THIRD PERSON POV}

While the Vks were planning, Melanie was standing against a pole, tied by a rope. She doesn't know where Ben has been since she woke up. Harry approached her.

"Coochy, coochy, coo," Harry rubbed his hook on Melanie's chin, "How's it feel to be the adviser now, eh?" Harry asked Melanie.

"Give it a rest, Harry," Scarlett said as she approached Harry and Melanie, "Give it a rest. We don't want damage goods."

"You and Uma said, I can hook her and the king," Harry said as he pointed his hook at Melanie.

"We said at noon," Scarlett told Harry.

He came up to Melanie and held his pocket watch, "20 more minutes."

Melanie glanced at the pocket watch, "That says 11:30."

Harry then went to stand next to Scarlett, who was sitting in front of Melanie.

"You better hope your girlfriend comes through," Scarlett told Melanie.

"Well, she's not my girlfriend anymore," Melanie responded, sadly. Scarlett let out a chuckle.

"Leave us alone, Harry," Scarlett told Harry.

"Okay," Harry then approached Melanie, showed Melanie the watch again, "19 minutes to go now."

"Go," Scarlett ordered, "Go check on Uma and Ben." And with a sigh, the son of Hook left.

"I get that you don't deserve this," Melanie told Scarlett. Scarlett just laughed.

"This?" Scarlett asked, "This island is a prison, thanks to the King's father and don't pretend to look out for me because no one's looking out for me. It's just me and Uma."

"So this isn't Scar or Ursula's plan?" Melanie asked.

"Our mom and dad don't care about us, either. Well, not unless they need someone for the night shift," Scarlett told Melanie with a chuckle at the end.

"Ouch," Melanie said, sadly.

"I don't need your pity," Scarlett told Melanie.

"No, you certainly don't," Melanie looked around the ship, "You're very resourceful," Melanie then looked back at Scarlett, who was approaching her, "I don't see you tied up."

"So, let's trash talk, Evelyn," Scarlett told Melanie, changing the subject.

"I'd rather talk about you," Melanie replied. No matter how hurt Melanie feels, she could never say anything bad about Evelyn.

Scarlett laughed, "Mm, funny and a lady. I really hope I don't have to feed you to the fishes."

"Well, you don't. Set me free and we'll go back together," Melanie told Scarlett.

"Oh so now I get an invite?" Scarlett asked, in fake surprise but then got serious, "Gee, I wonder why. When you brought Evelyn," Scarlett rolled her eyes, "Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos to Auradon, that's as mad as I've ever been in my life. And trust me I've been plenty mad."

"Honestly, I never considered that before—that Ben might have hurt the ones he didn't choose. The idea was to start with five kids and gradually bring more in. I guess we were too caught up in playing king and royal advisor," Melanie let out a tsk sound, "That sounds lame. I'm so sorry," Melanie told Scarlett, "You're a leader, Scarlett. So is Ben. Come to Auradon and be part of the solution."

"Me? Part of your solution? Nah. I don't need you, me and Uma are gonna get there on our own. Harry!" Scarlett called out, "Let's see if you can make it out of here without a scratch on that pretty face of yours," Melanie slightly flinched when Scarlett lightly placed her hand on Melanie's cheek.

Melanie gulped as Scarlett smirked at her.
