1 week before Homecoming

Adrian woke up to the terrible smell of Camembert and my alarm hasn't even gone off yet. Adrian thought to him self, getting up from his bed irritated "plagg, why can't you wait until my alarm goes off at least come on. . " Adrian said with a sigh, "well Adrian, my Camembert can't wait all night for me," plagg said snacking on Camembert.

Adrian brushed it off and went into his bathroom and got ready for the day, Adrian walked back into his room and grab his school bag, and waited until plagg flew into it, Adrien then made his way to the dining room to get breakfast.

While eating breakfast, Natalie text Adrian from her bed and said

Good morning, Adrian your bodyguard is in the car to drop you off at school and all your activists for today as well. Also, you will be receiving a call from your father while on your drive to school, of all your modeling gigs this week. Have a good day Adrian.

After Adrian read Natalie message he finished his breakfast shortly after and started to make his way to the car, but stopped at the front door to look at his father door and the stairs that leads to his room and thought to himself this empty and cold place, used to be called home, but not for year's now and maybe never again.

After getting in the car, Adrian text Natalie back.

Good morning Natalie, hopefully, you are feeling better, and thank you for letting me know everything. I appreciate it very much. I'm on my way to school now and waiting for a call from my father. Have a good day as well Natalie.

Adrian sent the message and his gorilla of a bodyguard started to drive and soon after Adrian father called. . .

Time skip. . .

After Adrian got dropped off at school, Adrian waited at the front entrance for his friends and thought how boring and cold his Father sounded over the screen, just as always and demanding too. While Adrian was thinking Nino and Alya had arrived at school and were standing in found of him.

"Hey dude, Adrian? You good?" Nino asked, Adrian, looked up and nodded "yeah, I am it's just my Father." Adrian answer. Suddenly the final bell rang and the 3 of them started to make their way to class. Marinette is probably running late, as she usually does. Hopefully, she gets here soon. . Adrian thought to himself.

Time skip. . .

After a long day at school, and finishing his fencing and Chinese lessons, Adrian gets home with his bodyguard and makes his way to his room. After Adrian gets in his room and transforms to Cat noir, without plagg to even complain, Cat noir makes his way to meet ladybug at their Patrol spot.

While on his way, Cat noir remembers Marientte never came to school, as he was jumping off the roofs of buildings with his baton. Cat noir stops at a roof in front of Marinette's house to see if she was there, but her room including the apartment where her family lives and the bakery was closed.

That's weird, the bakery isn't supportable close for another hour and it looks like no one is home, maybe they are asleep. I'll check the window to make sure. Cat noir thought, jumping onto Marinette's rooftop Balcony and looking down at her bed and no one was there. Cat noir shrug his shoulders and got onto his baton to jump away until he heard a small voice.

Cat noir got off his baton and looked down at her bed once more and saw something small flying away "um. . . hello is someone there it's Cat noir?" Cat noir said but no response, so Cat noir kneed down to Marinette's glass trap and try to see more, but could not see anything, but could hear many small voices.

Cat noir open the trap down to investigate "This is Cat noir, I can hear you. So show yourself if you are an intruder, the owner of this house is not here." Cat noir announces himself again. Making his way down from Marienttes bed, but there was no one, besides her things and two dresses half made.

Cat noir put his head down to the other trap door to hear if anyone was downstairs, but couldn't hear anything. So he took a peek and saw three shadows in chairs in a triangular shape. Something is not right here, Cat noir thought to himself and then the moonlight from the dupain-cheng's living room window, as Cat noir realized that it was Marientte and her family chained up in chairs past out. . .

Cat Noir, sends a message to Ladybug for help and checks again and saw there was dry blood on their faces, after realizing that Cat noir quickly and quietly went down the stair and went to the dupain-Cheng's, Cat noir made should no one else was in the apartment or the bakery because of his cat-like ear and his powers.

Cat Noir, phone the police and started to check their pulse, Cat noir told the police his finding and that two were no longer alive and that he was going to bring the last dupain-Cheng to the hospital.

Cat noir heart was racing so fast that he could no longer hear or realize that the last dupain-Cheng heart was fading fast Marinette dupain-Cheng's . . .

A couple of days later. . .

Marinette P.O.V

Marinette woke up with bright lights in her eyes and then everything went black once more.

Time skip. . .

Marinette finally woke up to a blurry room but after a minute her eyes adjusted, I'm at the hospital, but how and when and what happened. . . Marinette thought to herself. Then saw balloons and cards and flowers at the end of her bed.

Then suddenly a doctor came into the room "hello Marinette, you are awake, that great." The doctor said and marinette nodded "What happened doctor? I was just in my room." Marinette asked. The doctor walked closer " Marinette you've been in an accident. . . that's all I can tell you for right now and that you are doing fine, besides you've lost a lot of blood. But looking at these charts your blood volume has come back in range" the doctor told Marinette.

"Also Marinette, because of your fast recovery. You will be able to go home in two days but for now, a therapist will be here to talk to you in 2 minutes. That's all I can share, but I'll make sure to check up on you before you leave." The doctor said while rushing out of the room.

Marinette looked around the room and saw it was night and her phone was at a nightstand next to her. Marinette was reaching for it until she was erupted by another white coat professional opening the door to her hospital room.

"Hello Marientte, I'm the therapist, Lilith, it's nice to meet you, I just wish it was under better conditions. Anyway, I'm here to talk to you about what happened to you and some more details, alright? Is it okay if we proceed? The therapist asked and Marientte nodded.

"Alright, so October 10th. Cat noir found you and your family in your living room badly beaten up, and now after a couple of days of investigations from the police. It was an intruder, that came into your house and took all your family's money and chain you and your family up. . . it took ruffly 18 hours for Cat noir to find you and your family. And by the Cat noir got there. . . I'm sorry to tell you this, but both your mother and father were. . . deceased at the scene from blunt force to the head. . . and that you almost passed away from loss of blood, but because Cat noir, took you here. You survived Marinette. . . and everything will be alright, even though it's unbearable now, you're a fighter." The therapist said.

Marinette's expression was blank and had tears down her face, marinette looked down at her hands and felt nothing. . . her whole life was ripped apart from her, from an intruder. "Who will I live with?" Marientte asked, "well because you are the age of 18, Marientte, you can go to a family or friend's house." Lilith the therapist said, Marinette nodded.

"Thank you, Lilith, but I need to make a call . ." Marinette said as the therapist walked out of the room, Marientte grab her phone and called. .

" Alya, are you there. . . "
