I am not worthless
I can be confusing, irritating, and maddening
But I am not worthless
I can be enchanting, disarming and loving
But I am not worthless
I make mistakes, I fall and break
Still, I am not worthless
I am not Catherine the Great, and yet I am still one of The Greats
Because, I am not worthless
I fly with my eyes closed, I fall with my heart broke
I run until my feet bleed, I shout until my voice ends
I sing, I dance, I write, I love
Because I am worthy and will never be worthless
I may stumble along the way, hurting instead of healing
I may blame others for my past mistakes or cry the days of heartache
I may become blind to the love I deserve
I may be less worthy, but I will never be worthless
I know who I am
I've learned each strength and flaw, memorized the parts where I'm whole and hollow
I know each smiling facade and still-bleeding wound, remember every incident that chipped off a piece of me leaving me a violin untuned
I may not always seem okay, but I know who I am
I am me, the worthy, the whole and the hollow
