I scream out in pain and I hear baby cries.  I gasp in relief. The cries continue and I hear the doctor tell Chase to cut the umbilical cord. Chase does what he's told and the nurse weighs are baby and wraps him up in a little blanket. She hands our baby to Chase and he smiles down at the baby. 

He walks over to me and sits down in the hospital bed with me. He hands me our baby and I smile. Tears of joy brim my eyes and k try to blink them away but fail. He's so adorable. 

I hear sniffles and look over at Chase to see him crying his eyes out. "Oh, bubba. It's okay, he's here. He's finally here. We did it!" He smiles and wipes his eyes. 

"I can't believe we made that" he says looking at our baby. The baby opens his little eyes for the first time and I'm so happy to see that he has chase's eyes. 

"Chase he has your eyes" I smile and look over to him. His eyes fill with years again and he quickly wipes them away again. "I love him so much" he says and I agree. "Me too." 

The nurse walks over to us and asks "So what's his name?" 

"His name is Trevor." I pause and Chase kisses my cheek. "Trevor James Hudson."
