I hear my phone ping and I pick it up to see who texted me.

I'm not really sure what the surprise is going to be but I'm sure it'll be good.
It's about fifteen minutes before I head the front door open and hear him come inside.
"In the kitchen." I call out while finishing off my cookie.
He comes into the kitchen holding a bag. He walks over to me and sets it on the counter with a smile before placing his hands on my waist and pulling me in for a kiss.
"I missed you." He whispers as he pulls away slowly and places his forehead against mine.
"Chase I saw you yesterday." I giggle.
"Yeah well that's a looong time." He says defensively while dragging out the O which only makes me giggle more.
"Can I open my surprise now?" I ask.
"After I eat, I'm starving." He speaks dramatically, acting as if he hasn't eaten in days.
"Chaaase" I complain. "I've been waiting for this for like twenty minutes."
"Just give me ten more." He kisses my forehead then heads to the refrigerator.
Ten long agonizing minutes go by before he's finally finished and will let me open whatever the heck it is he got me.
He hands me the bag and I take it quickly from him.
"Greedy today?" He questions jokingly.
"Obviously" I laugh.
I tear the tissue paper out of the bag and throw it to the floor carelessly. I'll pick it up later.
I reach in the bag and pull out three things, but it only has one name: Lucario!

"Oh my God! Babe, do you even know how much I love Lucario?" I squeal.
"Yeah, that why I got it for you." He chuckles his sexy chuckle.
I smiley wide and give him a hug. "Thank you baby."
"Anything for my princess." He says with yet another forehead kiss.
I turn back around and pick up my Lucario plushy. "I love you so much."
"I love you too babes" Chase replies.
My face goes red. "I was talking to my Lucario."
"Oh." He says with a pout.
"I love you too dingus."
"Good, cause if not I'd take your Lucario back" he says with a smirk.
