Lucario 2.0

There was a bit of miscommunication on my part about the last Lucario imagine so here's the remake! ♡

Chase just called me and told me he did something. That's it, that's all he said. Babe I did something. I'm on my way home now. Love you.
And then he hung up. Talk about strange.

So anyway, now I'm sitting on the front porch swing waiting for him to get here so I can see what he did. I hope it's nothing drastic, last time he told me he did something he got a tattoo which I obviously don't mind because he's almost an adult and can do what he wants, I just hope he didn't do something super irresponsible.

I run yr fingers through my hair as I yawn then look at the time on my phone. 3:47 p.m. It's been about ten minutes since he called, so he should be pretty close to the house by now.

I hear gravel crunch and just as I look up from my phone I see him pull into the driveway. I jump up quickly and walk over to where he parked. I watch as he climbs out and walks around to the front of the car where I'm standing.

I smile at him and wrap my arms around his neck and feel his warm hands go to my waist instinctively which makes me weak in the knees every time even though he's done it hundreds and hundreds of times.

I peck him on the lips, as If saying hello before he can tell me what he did.

"Ok baby, tell me what you did." I say after our quick kiss is over.

He smiles and his eyes practically light up with excitement, which instantly makes me even more excited.

"It's actually for you." He admits.

"Really?" I practically squeal which makes him laugh and nod.

He grabs my hand and intertwines our fingers as he heads to the passenger side door of the car and puts his hand on the handle.

"Open the door Chase!" I whine impatiently and he chuckles lightly before finally opening it.

As soon as he opens the door I hear a little yip and watch as a little ball of fluff barrels out of his car.

"Oh my God Chase! It's so cute!" I squeal as I bend over and pick him up and oh my gosh it's so soft and adorable.

The pup yips and works it's way up to lick my face and I giggle adoringly. Oh gosh I love it already.

"What's it's name?" I ask him without looking away from the pup.

"His name's Lucario." He smiles and I finally look away from Lucario.

"I can't believe you got me a dog baby."

"I saw him and knew he was perfect for you." He says warmly as he walks behind me and wraps his arms around me while placing a kiss on the top of my head.

"I love him so much Chase. Thank you."

"Anything for you baby."

"Let's go plaaay." I say in a singsong voice as I run to the backyard with Lucario in my arms and Chase running behind me laughing the whole way.

Perfect.
