Dedicated to Skydancer, who wrote one of my all-time faves on Wattpead - Living High School To The Fullest. If you haven't read it yet, do it now! It's amazing!

JASON’S POV
Jason was sitting cross-legged in the conference room, staring at the enchanted walls that showed Camp Half-Blood. After spending six months there, it had become like a home away from home to him. But now he was no longer welcome to his home, and it looked like his other one might not soon cease to exist. Camp Half-Blood was good, but Camp Jupiter was better. He would know. He had spent almost all of his life there.
Jason knew he was only thinking about all this to distract himself from the loss two of his quest-mates. His only other choice was to drown himself in self-blame and failure.
The whole quest had spiralled out of control. What was happening? He had no idea. His mental image of being a leader had totally shattered, and now he felt lost and confused, and miserably so. A true leader didn’t fail. But he had. And if he was no longer a leader, something he had been since he had joined Camp Jupiter 12 years ago, then what was he? Who was he? He still hadn’t got used to the notion of having more than one other equal beside him. He was used to directing others, not being directed. As a son of Jupiter, it went completely against his nature.
He could see why the ancient Greeks and Romans had trouble co-operating.
He was just wondering how he was going to tell Chiron that two of his favourite demigods were missing, when alarms began to blare loudly. Trouble.
Excellent. This was exactly what he needed right now - some monster heads to chop off, so that he could avenge Percy and Annabeth.
He grabbed his gladius and rushed out of the door, taking the steps thrice at a time, and burst onto the deck, sword raised high, ready to bring hell onto whatever stood in front of him.
And then he saw who it was, and he stopped in his tracks in shock, his gladius hanging limply on his side.
“You”, he gasped in disbelief.
She turned her head to look at him, and memories came rushing into Jason’s head. Now the quest was definitely out of control.
“Jason Grace,” she said, her voice softly musical, just as he remembered, “We meet again.”

LEO’S POV
Leo had seen a lot of pretty girls in his life, and not lucked out with any of them. Even on this quest, he was the only guy without a female companion. Even Coach Hedge had a girlfriend.
All his life, girls had given him the cold shoulder. The prettiest girl he had ever seen so far was Khione, the Ice goddess, and she had tried to turn him into a human popsicle - talk about extreme. So when Leo caught sight of the beautiful girl floating on thin air in front of Festus’s snout, his first thought was that the gods had finally answered his prayers. Then he remembered that the god’s weren’t answering anyone’s prayers because they’d all gone off the edge because of the whole Greek-Roman complication.
His second thought was that the girl was going to kill him - owing to the deathly glare that was presently focused on him. This thought was confirmed when the girl’s hair sparkled with electricity, and she flew through the invisible force field he’d created around the ship almost effortlessly. By the time he hit the alarm button and the emergency sirens rang out - a dog whistle, a fireman’s truck, a cop car and the starting music of Linkin Park’s New Divide - she had already landed on the deck.
