Aboard the Salvager Three, which is a freighter bought by ShugNinx, used as cover to enter Byss space by his partner Salla Zend in order to retrieve Sallas ship, the Starlight Intruder. Both Salla and Shug managed to fool the Imperials into thinking they were just delivering supplies to the Emperor's throne world but not before notching what seemed like a long, giant. . gun of sorts.

Anakin and Luke Skywalker, as well as Kam Solusar had journeyed to Ossus in a search for ancient Jedi artifacts. There, they found two young Force-sensitive children, Rayf and Jem Ysanna, tied to a tree. Luke decides to set them free, the youths then continue to think that Luke plans to kill them despite being set free and run to the rest of their tribe who had came. The Ysanna use concussion arrows and the Force in an attempt to defeat the three Jedi, but their inexperienced and clumsy attacks proved easy for the Jedi to hold off. Seeing they've met their match, the Ysanna Chief Okko gives Luke and then surprisingly Anakin a "Ysanna bear hug."
