                            Ellie.

With my hoodie in one hand, I slide out of my bedroom. The bedroom I share with Marissa and Nova. The three of us hit it off pretty well considering that we are all aged 16.

Nova is very funny. It didn't take time for her to fit in with us. She just did.

The twins share a room with Blake, if you take one look at them, you will think that Blake was the missing piece to their puzzle, like they were triplets separated at birth! I mean imagine this, three 15 year old teenager boys in the same room. Perfect, right?

The third room is the one Trent and Col occupied.

I repeat, Trent and Col!

If you ask me, I really didn't imagine that they would get along as much as they do but the second they found out that they both play basketball, that did it!

Watching them is both fun and annoying. Fun because they have so much in common. Forget their similar physical appearances; tall, great bodies - all muscle no fat.

But it's annoying because my favorite guy in the world is not supposed to be all buddy buddy with another guy I have barely said a word to in three days.

I can hear the voices downstairs as I take the stairs two at ago. It has been three days since we all settled in here and tonight, Marissa pulled us all out of our rooms to play something fun and 'get to know each other'.

"So," I ask when I step into the living room." What are we playing?"

I look around for where to seat. The first couch is occupied by Marissa, Col and Trent. That's definitely a no for me.

The second carries Blake, Lucas and Logan. The Nova is sitting in a recliner next to them. I squeeze in between the twins and grab a bowl of chips from Blake.

The twins look at each other and suggest," let's play spin the bottle."

We all stare at them in disbelief. Do they realize that each one of us is related to at least half the people in this room? To say the least?

"Not that kind of spin the bottle," Logan adds immediately.

"We can twist it," Lucas explains." We don't have to kiss and whatever but since we are going to be living together for a whole month it's only fair we get to know each other so we'll spin and ask questions. That's all."

We all sigh in relief and get on the floor and form a circle in our sitting positions. Nova grabs an empty bottle from the kitchen and places it at the center of space on the floor.

"Who's first?" Blake asks eagerly.

"I am," Marissa responds, leans forward to grab the bottle, looks at each one of us then spins. We all lean forward in anticipation. Moments later, the bottle begins to slow. When it halts, it is pointing at Blake.

"Hit me," Blake challenges still eager.
This kid has a whole lot of energy.

"Tell us one really embarrassing thing that had ever happened to you," Marissa throws at him. His face goes blank for a few seconds then his cheeks flush in embarrassment as he speaks.

"In middle school my class went for this camping trip and one night while my friends and I were playing 21 questions, the girl I had been crushing on all year confessed that she had feelings for me," he blurts out.

"I spent five minutes grinning like an idiot and even told her that I liked her too but then I realized that she wasn't speaking to me but to the other guy also called Blake in our class."
