Rain

I've never been necessarily patient in my life. When I want something, I get it. I don't waste time devising a plan on how to get it, I just get it.

Before, when I've liked girls, I've been able to charm them in less than a week. A week or longer trying to win over a girl is far too long. Usually, her and I would date for a little. It would be nice, for a little. When we got bored of each other, we break up, it's that simple.

But, this isn't simple. Gon isn't simple.

Nothing about Gon is simple at all. Gon is different, he's a guy not a girl. He's also the most beautiful living being I've ever laid my eyes on. Whenever I'm around him, my heart beats like crazy. That's why, I was patient with Gon. I was caring and put time and effort into our friendship. I spent nearly a month being his friend. The memories of him and I in the past swim and haunt me. Therefore, I made sure to make up for all the bad things I've done to him.

Gon is different.

That's why now, I can't believe I'm holding onto Gon by the waist, his arms around my neck, my face turned downward, and our lips are mushed together as rapid droplets of rain splatter down onto us, soaking our clothes.

A kiss. Our first kiss together.

You might be wondering, how did this happen? No, you did not skip a chapter, I just didn't explain it yet.

This is off topic but, last night my mom bombarded me with questions on whether or not I like Gon after seeing our little interaction . Unfortunately, she somehow managed to pry out the answer.

Anyways, to begin with, in the morning I got up extra early and drove myself to school. Yes, I can drive. I'm almost seventeen years old, I got my driver's license around a year ago.

When I arrived at school, I immediately went to the principal's office for a little chat. Let's just say Mr. M got fired due to some other stories that the principle has heard before and the whole situation was cleared up. I made sure that nobody can say anything else to Gon about it.

Then I sat on some bench while I waited for one of my friends to arrive at school.

I scrolled through my phone and my eyes landed on Gon's contact. I began to wonder whether or not Gon would arrive at school soon.

Just then, my friend Meleoron arrived and my social day began.

After 6 periods of boring school besides getting a free English period and talking to Gon, it was finally after school. I packed up my things and as I was about to leave the classroom, I felt a tug on my jacket. I turned my head over to see Gon.

"Hmm?"

"Can we talk?"

"Sure, let's go outside," I said while taking his hand and heading out.

I headed out with Gon trailing behind and dragged him to a less crowded hallway. It was pretty jam packed since everybody was leaving class at the same time.

"What is it?," I asked.

"I wanted to say thank you. Ms. Bisky talked to me earlier today, she told me what happened. Thank you so much, Killua!," Gon exclaimed gratefully and slightly bowed.

I cleared my throat as I felt my cheeks heat up. "It's not a big deal," I said while patting his head, gesturing for him to stand up straight.

"It really is a big deal though!," Gon said exasperatedly. "I don't know what would have happened if you didn't help me! Is there any way I can repay you?," Gon asks with puppy dog eyes, begging for a way to be out of debt with me.
