Scylla POV

By this time the hostages were sleeping in their snake ridden cells. I lay in my snake pit with my precious serpents slithering around and beneath me. I read the ancient book my sister left behind. She still hasn't told me what's so great about Erza, but this book may help me discover it. u squint my eyes at the old, fine, text. this isn't a book... it's a diary! My eyes widen as I abhor every word.

Dear Diary,

Hey. My name is Ondina. I've spent my life tracking Scylla and Charybdis. These sorceresses live by in the sea and attack anyone who gets to close. No matter how hard I try, those two always best me and I return bloodied, and humiliated. They will suffer for the loss they've caused me. My children and theirs will fight until theses witches have been destroyed and wiped off the face of the earth! They've taken my whole family from me! Until the monsters are slain with this blade my descendants will continue the fight!

That's all for now.

Ahhhh, I remember Ondina. What an emotional basket case. How could I not notice the resemblance between her and Erza? Red hair, pale skin, etcetera. Erza is the 4th descendant of Ondina. All of her descendants have tried and failed to defeat us! That is until my sister and I combined powers to create a barrier. unfortunately that wall kept everyone out, but us.... in. Of course Erza is a descendant! She might not have the sword of her ancestor, but she has plenty in her arsenal. Why would Charybdis want her here?! What is she hiding from me?.....

Jellal POV

My heavy eyes open at the sound of hissing snakes.

"Ahh!" I spring up and trip, falling into another body.

"Gray?!" I ask incredulously.

"Yeah. They got you too."

"Why were you being so mean to Erza?" I asked him grumpily.

"We weren't! We were stuck here and that wench sent her little minions to capture Erza or something. The other one has been gone awhile..."

"That doesn't make up for making her feel terrible!" I say.

"We wouldn't have had too if u had left her with us!"

"It's was her choice!"

"But she loves you so of course she chose you!"

"She can like who she wants!"

"Yes but what about her guild! What about me... and the others!?" He stands up.

"Not her concern anymore!!!" I yell.

"Shut up!" Ultears voice enters my ears as a shoe is flung at the ice princess and I.
