Chapter 16 Bookworm Class trial

We all made it to the auditorium and entered the elevator that lead to the trial room. While in the elevator I felt I was receiving a few angry glances. We made it to the trial room, but the floor and the walls were a different color. The walls were a bright purple, and the floor was hardwood. In the trail room was another sign at one of the podiums. The sign had a picture of Aaron on it with a big red "X", just like ken's. Mark looked at the sign and then glared at Verlis. Verlis looked back at him and smiled. We all got to our podiums and Tamashi sat in his chair."Let the trial of Justine commence", he said in a booming tone. Toby began looking directly at me." Let's start with how we found your jacket at the crime scene"." How many times do I have to tell you someone Stoll it from my room", I said angrily. "But what we need to figure out what she could have been doing up there in the first place", Anthony said breaking the argument. "Does anyone know where she was before she died"? He looked back me and lightly shook his head."Let's talk about why the killer and Justine might have my file and my jacket", I said." But can we prove your not the killer Shadow", Toby said eyeing me. I stood there silent afraid what I could say next wouldn't prove me innocent."I can", Tiffany said. He stood there nervously shaking." Now that you mention it, it would make sense for him to do it, he was always on your top", Cry said. I looked over at Drake and he motioned for him to go first." Another thing is that when you were talking about how many files were found, no one mentioned to you exactly how many was found first"."In order for you to know that you must've found the files first". Toby was looking everywhere but not directly at Drake."Drake is right only Aph, Shadow, and I knew exactly how many shadow found first, and we never told anyone else". Toby started tapping his foot, and tapping his fingers in his podium. Drake looked at me and nodded for me to go with my evidence."Drake and I also found a note before you came in the library"."The note said, let's talk about the files". Toby then started tapping his foot faster."At the bottom of the note it look like she wrote something on it before she died, it was an "O", and "Y", Showing she was going to spell out the killers name", Drake said." Shadow's name has an "o", but not a "y", your name Toby has both of the letters in your name". Everyone's sights set on Toby as he looked at the ground." Is everyone ready to vote", Tamashi asked. Everyone nodded and began to vote on who the killer was. Just like last time at ken's trial, a giant slot machine appeared and Tamashi pulled the lever. It spun around until it landed on 3 chibi faces of Toby, with the words guilty in giant red letters."Toby why did you kill Justine and try to frame Shadow", Mark said in shock. Toby looked up and smiled at everyone."I didn't trust shadow, I was afraid that he was going to be as fucked up as Verlis". Verlis looked at toby angrily."Fucked up, I just saw this game as fun way use Hope for Death". Ignoring Verlis Toby continued."I was also afraid that Shadow could be a part of who is causing this to happen to us". Toby then pulled out a file, my file."But by reading this I saw otherwise". "What are you going to do with it Toby, give me my file", I yelled at him. His smile got abnormally big and he chuckled."I have fallen straight into despair, and in order to keep that despair and help you guys with falling to despair, I must never let any of you read it". Toby then pulled out a lighter and started to burn my file, he then tossed it to the other side of the room."TOBY YOU BASTARD", I yelled. I was going to go over to him but Drake, Anthony, and Cry held my back. He started laughing hysterically. He then looked at Tamashi,"Don't I have a despairingly great execution for me". Tamashi looked at him kind of creped out,"U-uh yah you do exactly, let's start it your kind of creepy even for me". A chain came from behind Toby and wrapped around him pulling him to a room surrounded by a cage. We followed and watched as Toby's execution started. Toby was tied up to a log and it was going down a conveyer belt, his insane smile then turned into a fearful frown. First a blow torch blew fire on him burning him badly. He started to moan loudly in pain. Next he was doused with boiling hot water. I looked over at a few people and they were covering their ears, and closing their eyes from Toby's horrifying screams. I looked at drake and he was shaking badly, along with Mark. Toby then got to the end of the conveyer belt and it stopped. Everyone looked as if his execution was over. The floor opened up to show blades spinning around. The conveyer belt started to move and dropped him in the blades. All you heard were blood curdling screams from Toby as his body was being chopped into pieces, and blood flew everywhere. I felt sick to my stomach, I looked over at everyone, and they looked horrified. I looked at Verlis who instead of having a creepy grin had horror written on his face. All of us knew that this was the most horrifying death we have seen so far.
