Chapter 18 Alter

I woke up feeling really groggy as if I struggled to sleep. I didn't understand why because, I did go to sleep kinda early. I got up, got dress and left my room. While walking I herd alot of noise coming from the cafeteria. I ran to the door and quickly went in. As I walked in everyone was crowding around something, and they all had shocked faces. I pushed my way past to see what everyone was looking at. There was Tamashi along with someone else,ALTER. Tamashi was throwing punches at him and each one made direct contact. Alter fell on the ground and placed his hand on his shoulder."YOU SHOULDN'T BE HERE",Tamashi yelled at him. Looking at Tamashi he was very angry, and it was strange, I've never seen him that angry. While alter struggled to get up he looked at me. (Please Alter, don't lose Hope). He nodded as if he was reading my mind. Before Tamashi could kick him he grabbed his leg, and swung him, causing him to crash into tables. When he crashed into a table a knife fell from it. Tamashi picked up the knife and flung it towards Alter. Alter didn't have enough time to move, but he shifted so it wouldn't hit his face. The knife snagged on his hood tearing it off. He placed an arm over his face while turned away from everyone. Alter lifted his head and turned to Tamashi. Everyone gasp at what Alter looked like, I was shocked seeing his face and not a pit of darkness. He was a black bird with a yellow beak with scars, and a crack that was on his upper lip. He also had long pointy ears that pointed back and his ears had piercing on them. Looking at his eyes they were a dark shade of red that looked lifeless. Alter was furious, and Tamashi looked slightly afraid. Tamashi ran up to Alter a swung his arm missing. Tamashi looked shocked when Alter ducked his punch. Alter then took his fist and punch Him in the stomach. The punch was so hard Tamashi quickly dropped to his knees clutching his stomach. Alter then began thrashing at him making contact with every punch and kick. Tamashi kept trying to hit him but kept missing. Alter then jabbed him right in the eye making him fall on the ground. Tamashi coughed some blood, and his nose started to bleed. He was still trying to recover from that blow to the stomach, thus making it hard for him to get up. Alter slowly walked to him."N-No stop please"!,Tamashi said scouting away from Alter. I was shocked more than ever, I've never seen Tamashi afraid before. Alter stop and looked at him."pitiful man, fallen straight into despair"."You wouldn't have a problem in life if you had hope"."Never", Tamashi grunted. Alter disappeared leaving him on the ground. We all looked at him on the ground."WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU LOOKING AT", he yelled angrily."I was going to show you guys the third floor, but I'll do it tomorrow"." As of today I want all of you, to leave me the fuck alone". Tamashi then disappeared. We all looked at each other."I guess we should fix the tables and have breakfast", speedy said picking up a chair. We all agreed and began cleaning up the mess the two made. It took a while to clean since half of the chairs were broke and we had to look for more. It took a while but we manage to clean the whole mess." I'm gonna go rest in one of the lounge chairs in the library", speedy said yawning. We all waved as he left the room." I'm going to go play a game in the game room if anyone needs me", Drake said leaving. He soon left while we stayed to eat breakfast." I wonder if Tamashi is ok, like who was that guy", Felix said." That guy is Alter, I said drinking coffee."Alter", a few said confused." Yah I met him before, he is not actually what he seems to be"."how", Ian said." Well he was the one who's been telling me not to lose hope", I said." I wonder why, could it be because your level,Tiffany said. "I don't know maybe",I said. We were all just sitting and wondering what Alters' purpose here could be." Hey Shadow, can you and Dan go get Speedy and Drake for lunch", Aph said. We both agree and headed towards the third floor. "Hey, I'll check the library, and you can check the game room", Dan said walking to the library." Alright meet back here", I said. We both nodded and entered the rooms. I walked in the the room looking for Drake.(Why is this room so big). I walked by a trash can and something caught my eye.(What is a crowbar doing in here). I picked it up and saw specks of blood on it.( I hope this wasn't used). I placed it back and continued looking for drake. I herd sound of a game being played near by. I followed the sound to see Drake playing Pac-Man."Hey Drake it's time for lunch",I said. He jumped and paused his game."Shadow you scared me",he said holding his chest."Why do I always do that", I said. As he was saving his game we herd running foot steps coming towards us." You guys come quick, something is wrong with Speedy. We all followed him to the library. We saw him laying on the ground moaning."His head I'd bleeding", Drake said."Drake can you carry him to his room",Dan said. He nodded and picked him up."Shadow lets find the others and tell em". We ran as fast as we could to the cafeteria. We barged in and everyone looked at us."Speedy's been knocked unconscious", we said. Everyone gasp and looked at each other."Is he alright",Ian said. "He's fine, he just got a blow to the head", I said." And I think I found the weapon."What was It" Tiffany said."Yah, it was in one of the trash cans in the game room. " Wasn't Drake in the game room",Anthony said. We all looked at each other."You don't think that he done it",Cry said. As we all gave each other worried glances, Drake walked in." I was so strange, Speedy woke up and told me to get out", Drake said scratching his head. "Hey drake do you know what Speedy was hit with", I said."Was it a crowbar maybe",he said."How did you know that",Felix said." Uh I don't know lucky guess", he said. He began shaking and clutching his head."We think you had something to do with it"." No it can't be me, I don't know why or how I knew it was a crowbar",he said. He began clutching his head with both his hands." Drake ju-",I said."I DIDN'T DO IT",He yelled at me. His face went blank after he yelled. "Drake you ok", I said. He looked at me, then passed out on the ground."What happened to him",Tiffany said running to him."I don't know" I said running to him as well. We all saw as Drake lye passed out.
